what if you had a pfc.. would you be able to run it ok with the mesh removed? i bought a z32 2nd hand and the mesh has been removed.. havne't put it on yet.

Mate i think you can still get your R34 turbo hiflowed for same price but you have to send in your original turbo to get hiflowed. The original deal is you put your order through and GCG will hiflow one of their own R33 turbo and when done you send them your turbo as replacement for their stock and they send you the hiflow one. I'm getting mine hiflowed at the moment Sydneykid said it takes 3-4 days for them to do it. He is a top bloke.. even went out of his way to meet up with me so i could give him my turbo as i didn't want the hassle of posting the turbo to them.

actually, i've looked at it closely it looks like the guy has cut the plate thingy off and removed the mesh perhaps maybe to suit his GTR.. eitherway i'm stuck now on how to mount it to my pod filter

Thanks paul, Its just my original AFM had one round end and one end was flat so i can bolt it straight onto my apexi pod filer.. Now the Z32 AFM i have purchased has 2 round ends so i was wondering how can i now bolt my pod filter to it, as ther is no plate or holes to bolt it onto. Do you know what i mean?

HEy all i recently acquired a z32 AFM 2nd hand from someone off these forums.. However both ends of the Z32afm is round, so ther is no plate to bolt the afm to my apexi pod filter? does anyone know how to bolt this on or if i can get an adaptor for it and where from? Thanks heaps.

i changed diff oil as well..but still makes that thump sound.. at least i am not alone.. the car still drives fine. to those people who are experiencing the same problem please notify the rest of us if you figure it out or if your car suddenly falls apart. THanks all

But the clutch grabs fine though, no slipping or anything.. its weird. REplaced the clutch with a heavy duty one when i first got the car about 3 years ago.

HEy all. Sometimes early in the morning when i start my car i hear a loud thump sound when the engine kicks over. This only happens sometimes. IF i start the car with the clutch pressed in.. i won't hear the thump unless i release the clutch. Sounds like its comeing from the back of the car but i'm not sure. also sometimes when i'm sitting at the lights and press the clutch in there is a slight thump but you have to listen for it and sometimes you can feel it. Does anyone have any ideas? of course when i take it to the mechanic it doesn't do it!!! The car still drives fine no problems... PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks

HI, When my car is idling, the engine fan seems to be really loud. Also when you rev the engine is the fan suppose to increase it's speed with the revs as well? (this occurs when the engine's cold and when it's warm i vaguely remember reading somwhere that this was a clutch bearing problem or something but i can't find that thread anywhere. Any help would be great. Thanks
