Hey man, Yeah i had the same problem.. My dad fixed it for me.. he cut the bit on the airbox that was touching the pipe.. and then he turned the bit around so the curve goes inwards and then glued it back onto the box.. so the airbox is all sealed up and had a nice groove for the pipe to sit in. Seems to be working really well.

Yeah,mine works the same as Thizzle, i think you may have a problem with yours, unless you have the anti-hijack feature turned on.. but that will only activate if you open the door while the engine is running.

Hey I got the Brant Nemesis as well.. It will self arm if you disarm the car with opening any door. So if you disarm the alarm and don't open any doors within a certain time period it will self arm again.. this is security incase you accidently disarm the alarm.

Dude i wouldn't worry about it. If it was that much of a hassle no one will be driving sports cars. Yes you do hear alot about sports cars getting stolen, keyed etc, but the thing is even crappy cars get stolen, you just mainly hear about the nicer cars though.. plus reading a Skyline forum, you're gonna hear alot of things happening to a skyline. I'm sure most members on this forum haven't had anything happen to their cars. Well i haven't had anything (touch wood) and i live near Cabramatta... oh actually i got my valve caps stolen once when i parked at Cabra. Sometimes you worry about where you park it etc.. but the joy outweight the woes!!

yeah i just got a frount mount and i am with famous. i wasn't sure if they were going to jack up the premium by like hundreds of dollars just cos of it. Didn't know whether to tell em about it.. how can you prove if its legal..

What does this "windy" sound, sound like?. The fan is spose to be on all the time when the engine is on right? its hard to try and spin mine freely as i have aftermarket intercooler.

I also have a Hybrid one and i am very happy with it.

The car feels good.. it seems to rev alot smoother than before, and it feels more responsive.. definately an improvement.. and i haven't even wound up the boost yet. Will be taking it to get my safc tuned soon. They are an awesome kit.. recommend them to anyone. I got the hybrid limited edition one, if that means anything. Thanks again for the help.

just installed my hybrid intercooler on the weekend with the help of my brohter and dad, Plus *Evil* from this forum was very helpful with advice and even emailed me some photos. Thanks man. All up took about 7 hours to install, but i enjoyed it. Learnt alot from it too. wasn't too hard, just time consuming.

moanie did you have to put the original intercooler on to clear the defect?
