Hey guys, I am a bit of a newbie to SAU forums, I used to be on hardtuned.net alot but the 17 year olds with bad attitudes got a bit much. I have a track car thats not complied for australian roads, I keep reading just about every week about a skyline, stagea, etc getting stolen and its making me paranoid. I live in Adelaide and the car is usually stored at home, I have a cheap wheel clamp on one of the front wheels but its pretty basic. Being a track car I really dont want to fit an alarm as such, I really dont need the headache if the thing plays up as it would be really a pain to get the car back to wherever it gets fitted for warranty work. I cant imagine I am the only guy out there with the same situation, what are people using to protect their pride and joy ? I know there are other topics about this, but it seems the flaming of people takes precedence over helpful information. So please refrain from turning this into the same, I really dont need the bother.

I have purchased a part from Leigh , nice guy. I am sure he didnt go out of his way to break the rules (but they are there for a reason) . Didnt see any cheap chinese gear laying around, just parting out cars and selling the go fast bits from them for cheap. Given he is a one man band and only starting up, annual fee's may be prohibitive to advertise for him. Is he allowed to advertise as a private seller ? Only reason I ask, is I live near the port and having an import wrecker so close is handy . Only other option I have close is Japco, then its a fair drive elsewhere.

After R33 GTST 2 Door Full 3" exhaust , doesnt need to be a brand name, going on a track car so it doesnt necessarily need a cat or alot of mufflers either Im sure there is somebody in Adelaide with something laying around they want to get rid of, PM me !

In following text, left-click = left mouse button and right-click = right mouse button. Download following files and save to “Desktop”. Just Left-click on Green items and it will take you to the websites. UDSM FAST and E-FAST program and databases _Disk1.rar - Part one _Disk2.rar - Part two If do not have RAR program to open above files, download here: http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10007677.html Install FAST software. After two RAR files are downloaded to “Desk top”, double left-click RAR file “_Disk1”. When file opens, find folder “FASTPRG” and double left-click. When file opens, double left-click folder “WIN2000”. When file opens, double left-click folder “SETUP”. “Setup program” will now automatically start, so just follow any and all instructions. After program installs, close all open windows. Install “key file” to “Windows folder” so software operates. On “Desktop”, double left-click RAR file “_Disk1”. When RAR file opens, find file “NSFASTKY.INI” and right-click. When “MSFASTKY.INI” sub window opens, left-click “Copy” and then close file “_Disk1” window by left-clicking “X” icon in upper right corner. On “Desk top” (“Windows XP”, left-click Start), double left-click “My Computer” and then double left-click “C:” drive. When “FAST setup” window opens, left-click “CD-ROM setup” button (Nissan set program up to run off CD-ROM disks, not hard-drive). When “CD-ROM DRIVE SETUP” window opens, place mouse pointer on “2 Drives” circle and left-click (a black dot will appear in circle). Left-click “1 CD-ROM Drive” “Browse” box and when “DIRECTORY SETUP” window opens, select “C:” in lower “Drive” box. Next double left-click “nissan” folder in “Directory” box (page down list). Double left-click ”disk1~1”, then left-click “OK” box and when “CD-ROM DRIVE SETUP” window reopens, “1 CD-ROM Drive” box will read “c:\nissan\disk1~1”. Left-click “2 CD-ROM Drives” “Browse” box and when “DIRECTORY SETUP” window opens, select “C:” in “Drive” box. Next double left-click “nissan” folder in “Directory” box (page down list). Page down to “nissan” folder, left-click “+” box left of “nissan” folder, left-click “disk2~1” and then left-click “OK” box. If “Drive 2” line reads “c:\nissan\disk2~1”, setup is complete, so left-click the “OK” box. Close all windows, as “FAST” program will now find “Disk1” and “Disk2”. NOTE: In some cases “FAST for Windows” file does not appear in “Programs” list. Do following to find “FAST Setup” file. On “Desktop” left-click Start on “lower tool bar” and double left-click “My Computer”. Double left-click “C:” and double left-click “NISSAN” folder. Find file and left-click “Nfset” file, when “Nfset” opens, follow steps #3 to #12 above. How to run FAST software. (for Windows Vista) Left-click “START” on “lower tool bar” and then left-click “All Programs”. Move mouse pointer to “FAST for Windows” and left-click “FAST menu”. When “FAST menu” comes up, left-click either: “FAST system” for 1979 to 2003 models. “E-FAST system” for 1964 to 1978 models. NOTE: When starting “E-FAST”, a window indicating an error may come up. Just click “OK” box and program will start. System that is selected starts, so wait for it to load. (Windows XP) As said before, in some cases “FAST for Windows”, does not show up in “Programs” list, so there seems to be no way to start “FAST program”. If this happens, do the following: On “Desktop” left-click Start, double left-click “My Computer”, double left-click “C:” and double left-click “NISSAN” folder. Find “Nfmenu” file, right-click and when sub window opens, left-click “Copy” and close window. Place mouse pointer on any blank area on “Desktop” and when sub window opens, left-click “Paste”. Now to open “FAST program”, double left-click “Nfmenu”, on “Desktop”.
