  2. yea driving is gooood... apart from the petrol prices atm... yea im VERY paranoid when it comes to parking my car... i dont leave it in dark civic kinda places with lotsa di(ks.. If someone thinks of somewhere secure... then sure.
  3. ill prob be out for a look... but no running for me... cars running llike crap.
  4. hey... also after some pics.. Could use a change... [email protected] cheers
  5. Dude.... im after some 2, what sort of nick are they in? or do you have any pics??? If there good ill take em
  6. Well atleast they had wood... capital steering sent out Quickez to pick up mine.... the guy was real nice but had nothing to make it easy to get on the truck... And this truck was bigger than ALT so i thought it wouldnt be on as much of an angle and be easy on.... Until i had to take off the front bar. But im used to it.... it happens every service anyways.
  7. hmmmmm... i think it is diff... i dont think this box i have could make that much effrect on the turbo, and its not connected to it... heres a pic of what i mean.. is this what you have.??
  8. Damn... that aint good.... there aint many 34's in camberra and we know of thoes... Hope all is good... Let us know if you find out more.
  9. Damn... not good mate... I hope you didnt have as much trouble as me getting your car onto the truck. I have to see these wheels.. Another set of 19's the the family.
  10. But..... im sure i was there..
  11. hmmm... nah i think you think im talkin about something diff... I had a vac hoes that goes from the Inlet manifold to a lil black box thing, which the has a plug onto it. this runs into the car.. im pretty sure this is where the Stock boost guage gets its info from. I disconnected that hose and used it to run my aftermarket boost guage, so its no longer running into the standrad guage, just wondering if this could make any effect on how the car runs... whether this lil black box needs to read vac for tunning sort of purposes.. If you know what i mean..??
  12. Look agree with both... Yes i spose you cant put the blame on capital steering... the guy who made the mistake on my car, had obviously done it before which gave them the reason to let him go.. where the same thing could of happened at Inline.. Im sure Capital have dane really great jobs and people walk out happy and dont have to go back.. As they prob have at Inline... And walk out with not so happy faces... Its part of life... But im just glad they admitted what they did, were quick with fixing my car and gettin it back on the road, and are offering me free service next time i go back to get a check over. Everyone makes mistakes... just leaves the other person not soo happy.
  13. hmmmm... i have a similar problem... Say if i disconnect tht hose for the stock boost guage that goes to that lil things that sends stuff thro ele wire to the guage... right... say i disconnect that vac and use it as my After market boost guage.... do you think that it could affect???
  14. Id agree with Evo... I was looking at buying a GTR there, until i saw in all 4 guards there was rubber.. You would think they would clean it after havin fun.
  15. Good news guys.. you dant have to loose anymore sleep over my car.. Cars back, all fixed up, have to take it back in 1000km to re check...but all sorted for now... just a lil scared to take it fast around corners now. :S Bungendore... coming back from a mates farm.
  16. the car arrived in the shop, and they assesed it... All is good, there fixing it all up "for free" was some young guys fault which now doesnt work there.. There goin over the whole suspension, realignment everything, even offerin to pick me up when its finished.. And the best news, i get it back tomorrow. So im happier now, but still pissed that it happened.
  17. Truck just came and took my baby away... I took the front bar off, so i dont have any probs some of you guys had. Do panel damage.. not sure whether the shock is damaged as there was alot of weight pushed up against it.. but well see when i get a phoen call. Yes... inline should of been the go
  18. Hi.. Not happy today... On my way back from the cotter with a mate, heading thro warramanga as i came thro one corner, something flung up into my rear guards and bounce of with a ching sound... went back and there was a bolt left on the ground pikced it up just incase, the bolt was threaded as well so i thought it was either bad, or just not mine... About 200m up the road as i went around the roundabout, the car just drops and vears to the right. when i look at it the L/F wheels has a camber like -45Deg. Not a pretty site... So what happend is the control arm bolts fell out and the car fell down... Spend a bit of time on the side of the road trying to get 1 bolt back in after trying to jack it up(bodykit in the way) So i managed to get a bolt in and drive slowly home... called stu at Capital steering and his has now sent a tow truck out. My blame goes to capital steering as they threaded the bolts when they fitted the part.(Camberkit) im just glad i hadnt of been doin 100Km/h around a corner at the time it fell... as i could of ended up nasty. So im not a very happy chappy! and sounds like i aint cruising tomorrow night.
  19. im guessing you mean "R34 GTR's" Yea true dat. didnt spot anyone today...
  20. On the Gtst it goes to the Inlet manifold... may be similar on the GTR..
