  1. Hi Does anyone know whether dashmats are available for the V35's (I have a sedan)? If not, would the Maxima or other local Nissan one fit?
  2. Thanks guys and enjoying it immensely - the whole keyless thing is still weird (opening car and starting it without a key doesn't feel right) From what Fabcar have in Burswood, they have a V36 or two that they are selling - nice but not cheap
  3. These are dealer pics of my 2004 350GT that have had for a week now having traded my Stagea - its good to be back to a Skyline again (had an R33 before the Stagea) Awesome to drive and I love the exhaust note Has keyless entry (the smart key thing that the Maxima and GTRs have) so no key is needed to open doors, start car, etc - kinda weird and still getting used to it. Just got to fix the twisted seat belt and some paint marks and will be even better Cheers Al
  4. An update on Lumleys (LSV Insurance formerly Torque Insurance) Spoke to them yesterday about a V35 I am about to pick up changing over from my Stagea (currently insured with LSV) I was told that they no longer insure daily drivers and are reverting back to classic, vintage cars only that are driven once or twice a week. They are honouring existing customers but not taking new customers or insuring a different car for an existing customer So now the hunt for a new insurer begins and delays me getting into the V35
  5. Given the age of the unit (2004) that was what I thought - none of the "newer" formats Pity about no MP3 but small price for such a car
  6. Does anyone have the specs on the MiniDisc unit that is in the 2005 upgrade models? What discs does it support (MD, LP2, LP3, Hi-MD, etc) and what formats (eg ATRAC, MP3, etc)? Any help would be appreciated Cheers Alan
  7. It seems to be mainly the Bose system that is missing plus some of the other options Will have a listen to the stereo system and if it sounds okay then that solves that one Not too fussed on leather seats Had heard there were issues with the VQ30DD engine so the VQ35DE seems more reliable Was told that having come from an R33 and Stagea that I would be disappointed with the 300 in comparison performance wise
  8. Ignoring pricing, timing, mileage (both okay), what would in your opinion be the better buy: 2004 350GT Sedan (upgrade model) with cloth seats, dual zone air, 5sp auto, Nissan stereo (ie not a Bose upgrade version) with steering wheel controls, VDU, 17" wheels but does not have the Bose package or leather OR 2003 300GT Sedan Premium model with half leather/suede seats, Bose audio, 5sp auto, 18" wheels I am leaning towards the 350GT due to engine specs and it is newer notwithstanding the lower spec features. How much difference is there between the Bose package and the non-Bose package - given I am not an audiophile I currently own a 98 Stagea and had a 96 Skyline before that (seem to have a thing for Series II Models) Cheers
  9. Spotted blue M35 in Jane Brook early this afternoon - wife spotted it first and commented how how nice it looked
  10. Just had front brake pads replaced by Northside Nissan and they used HITACHI HP63H FF (I think) pads at a cost of $115 each for a Series 2 RSFourV
  11. Waved to a white stagea this morning coming out of Lakeside Joondalup - got a wave back as well
  12. White Series II around lunch time in the Wanneroo Markets car park
  13. Hadn't thought of that Kylie, so will investigate Did you need a new pump or just a full fluid change?
  14. I will be interested to see how you go with this as sounds similar to a problem I have had for the last 3 years - tried wheel balancing and alignments (at both tyre places and professional suspension places) plus put in a castor kit (made a difference) Is worse when colder and seems to disappear after a while
