  5. Anyone have the part number for the motor for an electric seat for an M35? Cheers
  6. I would be interested to see how this turns out. Post your results once complete please!
  7. ChrisB, PM sent
  8. This idea, this idea I like. I've been meaning to take the stag camping for a while. The perfect camping mobile. Build a bbq out of bricks and a hot plate, fire underneath - no worries.
  9. Thanks for the offer, Benny, but you're too late! Scotty has jumped in there first and I already have them en route to Sydney. Got a bucks on this weekend, but will try and get around to installing the brakes this weekend if not too hung over
  10. hmm I might take you up on the tube spacers, Scotty. PM sent, thanks man!
  11. I'll report back in a month to see how it goes.
  12. Cheers for that. Maybe he'll sell me just the motor as Chris is in Melbourne!
  13. Thanks for the info, Scott. Damn, so there's no chance on hooking up the rear r33 rotors & brakes then. Anyone wanna buy some brakes off me? BEST PRICE! OK so what are the other options for rears? DBA Slotted Xtrail rotors & HPX pads? I won't be tracking the car or anything like that. Also, one more question.. Can anyone confirm if r34 gtt rotor & caliper will fit? I thought I read that somewhere here a while back, but can't find it now. Just seeing what my options are as the brakes look puny - I feel I need to fill the space!
  14. I know it's a long shot, but is there any chance you still have the spare motor & you want to sell it to me? Pretty sure one of mine has had it. Already blasted the switch, can hear the motor itself trying to switch on, but it's just not moving the seat!
  15. Hi all, Apologies for bringing up an old thread. I've recently purchased r33 slotted rotors and r33 gts-t calipers to fit to the ARX. As far as I've read, it should be pretty much a straight swap with minimal modding required for the fronts. Hopefully these items will be delivered by the weekend so I can put them on, but I just wanted to check prior to fitting, what I should be expecting? -The calipers have a restrictor in them which can be removed by screwing in a self tapper and pulling it out? This is so the m35 brake line which is 2mm larger will fit, no worries. Is this correct? -I also read somewhere I may have to machine off a few mm off the hub? Or was this only for GTR32 rotors to fit? -I was planning on putting the rears on as well, but is the mount different for the calipers? Can someone please confirm this? Currently I have a set of BBS rims, so there should be plenty of clearance. If not, I have 30mm spacers I can put on for back up. Cheers in advance!
  16. Craig, the black cow looks hilariously (awesome) on the track! I "Forever Black'ed" the plastic trim on the ARX. Looks heaps better than previously. The trim was previously grey from too much sun baking. Went over everything 2-3 times so it's all pretty black. Took forever, but would recommend. Also, "Forever Black" is better/darker than Meguair's trim polish stuff, IMO.
  17. Jumped in the car this morning and the forward/backward was not working again! Might try reach under the seat and give it a few more love taps with the pliers again. Will smash it with contact cleaner again on the weekend, just for good measure.. but I am pretty sure the electric motor has pretty much had it, as I can hear the motor trying to switch on when the buttons are pressed. Anyone have any other ideas? If I'm unsuccessful, does anyone know if anyone is selling a tan leather M35 electric heated seat? Or hell - even just the motor! Cheers
  18. Just took the front seat out of the stag to clean the terminals as suggested above as the forward/backward heated electric seat stopped working. This did not work for me - was spewing.... What did work however is getting a pair of pliers and banging on the electric motor. Yay! Probably a bit of grit or something was in the way and there wasn't enough torque for the motor. Could hear the motor trying to switch on when flicking the button, so there was some* method to the madness! Moral of the story - if it doesn't work, hit it with a pair of pliers. I hope this helps someone else.
  19. ^Took me a few goes, but I got there. I've had a few passing comments about the ARX, but nothing to write home about yet unfortunately!

  23. That was me! I spotted you a couple of hills away on Jenkins Rd, then managed to catch up whilst you were stopped at the lights at North Rocks Rd. Nice looking ride mate - was there a Learner driver driving at the time??
