I've just had to replace my stocker pump. Managed to make 410hp at all four which I thought was awesome for a stocker. I thought it was actually aftermarket until I pulled the bastard out. I've now got a drop in SARD pump. Not noisy enough for me to complain put it that way.

Never seen you all down there. Whos in the team? How long has there actually been a team? But djr81 is correct, you don't see all that many skylines being raced. The only regular cars I see down at MC for instance are Baz's 32, some white R34 with pink mesh and not many others.... Each to their own. Interesting....

Just wanted to point out that the knock reading was 19 (as in first post). Nothing to worry about. As for the pressure sensor, I don't have one, or rather it's been disabled, as I have a boost controller "external" to the Power FC (profect B). Boost is currently set at 1bar. Might have to go and see someone with a datalogit so they can have a look at these thresholds. Thanks a million people!

That's EXACTLY what I've been thinking. The max voltage for the AFMs is something like 5.1 or 5.2 volts or something. But even still, it's still not enough. Hmmm. Any PFC gurus out there?

People, Last night I took my car for a nice little drive, only to have the check engine light come on, but only once for some reason. Can anyone see anything wrong with this? The peak readings were as follows: Injector Duty: 74.9% Ignition Timing: 35 Deg Air Flow: 4740 mV Engine Rev: 7552 rpm Speed: 97km/h Air Temp: 47 Deg Knock: 19 Water Temp: 80 Deg What could it be? Car is running beautifully, no hesitations, nothing. Just curious as to why the light popped on for a little bit. Obviously isn't detonation because the knock reading is really low, only thing I can think of is maybe AFM's (which are RB25DET units)? Anyone shed some light?

Exactly. I'd like to know this also. What I can't understand is that why have Apexi changed the cut? E.g A stocker gtr ecu uses ign cut, whereas if you change to the regular FC, it uses a fuel cut. Odd. What are you going with simon? Still going Wolf or what? Wolf use ign or fuel cut?

James, What I meant by that is that you can have a PowerFC, Microtec like eggy/dave, or whatever etc and add this external device and still get launch control. Now that you've bought the FC Pro.....go and buy the software from nengun. $300-$400 del I think.

What he said. Just to clarify, I am 90% sure that the person who I spoke to was not Howard. I have spoken to Howard before hand, and seems like a legit guy who seriously knows his stuff! He has advised me before to go with the AP Calipers etc, and depending on what is needed, you can spend upto 16K for brakes alone! (As he said he's quoted a GTR before with 8 pot brembos up front and 4 pots on the rear!). However, this wasn't the same person who I dealt with yesterday. Extremely sorry if I have offended anyone. I am under no circumstances trying to "bag" Racebrakes. Anyway, after doing a little bit of shopping around, for the money, the six pot Porsche caliper kit that's on UAS for 3.3k seem to be a bit of a bargain!

I know this might put lots of people off, but I'm going to say it anyway. After a quick phone call to Racebrakes in Melbourne, I was basically advised NOT to perform this mod as its basically, as he deems it, "a shitty and dodgey way of doing things," and to finish off, he basically refused to sell them to me. Each to their own I say. I can't see how this is dodgey; so I've come to the conclusion that the guy I spoke to was a dickhead basically because he kept on trying to sell me an Alcon brake kit worth 4.8k.....No. Does anyone know where I can source these adapters/spacers from (apart from UAS?) I just called them and the kit for the GTR has not yet been developed Ronin 09: Are there any brand names or any details as to where we can source this kit?

Dude, I know your after the bling factor of launch control. You can always add this later. I'm fitting an external sort of device which is launch control. Can use it with stocker ecu etc. Just a sequential ignition cut I'm pretty sure.

Just be careful if you choose to weld it up....the pump is aluminium so it'd be quite easy to warp due to the high heat etc. Metal putty stuff works though...forgot the exact name of the stuff what was used but it was the only real "safe" way to do it. Ask gtrken on these forums. He knows this shit back to front.

Is it all R32s that have this small drive? I could almost swear that the later model R32s (93, 94) had a bigger drive? Read it somewhere on here.
