ok thanks. what kind of price am I looking at though? I was on the Autospeed website and they were around $240 for the rotor. Would this be for the rear pair or each...because it didn't specify. Im guessing its for the pair.

As the topic says...i need new brake rotors, mainly for the rear. Should I just replace the rears with factory cross drilled discs or should I get an aftermarket brand like DBA? I was looking at these http://www.dba.com.au/rotors_gold.asp any suggestions?

ok thanks for your input people. dumb question but are some filters louder than others? the reason i ask is that I went for a ride in an R31 with an RB20det the other day and I think it had a HKS filter. Anyway...it was much much louder than the ones I have now. Im pretty sure its "works autos" old 31.

Hey all, Just got the GTR back from its 100,000km service. All went well except a few things need doing. I had so called K&N pod filters already on the car but the guys who serviced the car said they were not, but infact a K&N copy that cannot be cleaned or something. Anyways, what kind of pod filter should I fit to the GTR? Is it worth spending the extra money on a Japanese brand like HKS or apexi? I went for a ride in a mates car and he has a HKS pod, and when changing gears it flutters. I WANT THIS SOUND. hehe thanks

i remember talking to my tuner about it. he said he can either set it up in such a way that...to control boost u can either do it by duty cycle or revs. which is better.....and if it aint connected (which im not sure about) why is it showing a reading?

Hey all, Playing around with my AVC-R today and noticed that at idle...it says that injector duty cycle is at 86% or something. Anyways, when you rev it, it goes down...say to 80%. After this I took the car out and after driving I hit the "peak" button and it said that it peaked at 90%...wtf? I don't get how this function works! can anyone help me?

Much the same as JiMiHs thread...same story, went through and phase and sorta lost intrest. Got a Fender Squire Guitar and a Peavey Amp as well as an electric tuner thing. Comes with leads and may need new strings. (Cost aound $14). Looking for $450 ono

I don't think it would be age...but I can't really say seeing as I'm the youngest here but I think its all to do with the attitude of the driver. Anyone see that story Today Tonight ran about young people in high performance cars? They had 3 blokes with an S14, modded WRX and GTR. It sorta proves what phat25t said...."it comes down to being sensible and knowing the limits of ure car" I've got a link to the story if anyone is interested.

alright people.....I'm seriously confused. I have the car booked in to get the cam gears done but I am stoked to which brand to get. I rang Sub-Zero in Q.L.D yesterday and they advised me not to get the HKS gears because they only last 25 000kms....wtf???? My number 1 problem is that I have people telling me that the HKS gears last forever and that they are really good....but on the other hand I have people telling me not to use them because they are really really shit. What should I do? Sorry to be a pain in the arse but I'm not in favour of buying Cam gears and them lasting only 25,000 kms. I need your opinions and info!! Thanks again

well from busselton u can croose through dunsborough and down caves road until u get to say Augusta. then from there you can get on the highway and go through margaret river...then onto the bussel highway which takes you straight back to busselton. hows that? we still working on the 18th?
