  1. Yeah I gave them a go at a bit of smoke up but the car was playing silly buggers.. stalled up and let them spin but it just didn't want to spin hard. needless to say the smoke that came out from the little spinage was pretty good.. can't wait to bake them
  2. what did you end up searching to find it? me and forum searchs just don't seem to get along
  3. My aircon was removed from the car before it came over and I was wondering if it's as easy as putting the new aircon box/cylinder thingo back in the front of the car and reconnecting the lines? or is there more involved..
  4. after a bit of searching I still can't find the post about that cheap tyre place in melbourne... anyone remember the name of it? think it was in the northern suburbs somewhere.. need to replace the snow tyres (so I can go return the rubber to nature on some *private* street somewhere  )
  5. how much in AUD do the veilside widebody kits go for anyway? an arm and a leg is what I'm guessing!
  6. haha yeah the speed meter seems to not turn on.. I guess it's not plugged in or something? I was like a kid opening presents when I was rummaging around in there
  7. Moorabbin -> Berwick isn't exactly close:D when do I get to have a ride in the beast anyway, Kim?

    Bought R32 Gtst

funky; where is banzai battle? I want to go watch
  9. I'm after a black SAU beanie. Payment by direct deposit (bank transfer).
  10. I hear it's also good to get a manual ECU also.. while the auto one will work the auto one actually retards the rpms during gear change to make it smoother. Apparently when using an auto ecu you can still feel where it retards the rpm then puts it back.. If you want to do it properly picking up a frontcut for 2k and selling the parts you don't need is a pretty good option
  11. All depends on the price you pick up the parts for. I've seen conversion kits for 1k through to 1.5k.. I hear there is also a place here in melbourne that does the conversion (inc labour) for 1.5k..
  12. I know it's a different thing. I was wondering if anyone else who did it through them knows if they can also offer a RWC.. I don't think they do so I'll just have to look elsewhere. How much are roadworthys anyway? Just had to spend some cash replacing the exhaust.
  13. hahah yes very good reason. In the wet it's slippery as hell. Lena Engineering is in Knoxfield.. off burwood rd/hwy.. Some little loop road that has bunch of industrial type joints on it.
  14. Lena engineering in Knox. So you're saying I will have to fix that dent before I can get it on the road? man what a mission!
  15. Did you have to buy new rubber to get the RWC or will the snow tires pass..
  16. Another question I have to ask is: With the ADR work I have the car at Lena engineering in knox at the moment.. does that include a roadworthy or will I have to go and get the roadworthy else where?
  17. Hows that work though? How many rust buckets do you see roving the streets!?
  18. when I get it back from the workshop I'll have a look.. don't think they will be an issue. I hope the dent won't be a RWC issue.. I just want it on the road right now
  19. yeah it does look pretty shocking. a dent will not affect RWC. It does not make the car less road worthy. But yes I do need to clean it up.. I think beat it out and bog it up sounds like a plan
  20. thanks inark.. they do smoke up very nicely! R32Big_boy: cheers.. I did read that post just after I posted in here heh. I will give them a call. What is the exact size tyre I am after? 235? 255?
  21. A quick question relating to rubber. I'll have to get some new rubber because the ones on the car are winter/snow tyres.. what do you suggest I do: a) find a 32 owner and borrow his for a few hours at the pits? B) buy some new rubber for it.. I don't have a heap of cash so might go for second hand rubber if that's the path I'll take.. anyone know prices on second hand rubber?
  22. Thanks for all the kind comments. The manual conversion is the first thing on my list don't you worry. Yeah mine is stupid low and scrapes on everything too.. more so because I wasn't used to the ride height and was doing this maybe a little too quickly heh. Didn't the GTR come with the brake light in the wing? Interesting..
  23. Yeah I missed those too. Well picked up on:)
  24. I like my front bar! the plastic lip is great.. when I drive into the driveway and scrape the ground, it doesn't shatter like a fibreglass copy would!
  25. Just for the record it came with the following: Omori guage panel (oil/water temp, oil pressure, ext temp) GReddy boost guage Nismo 260km/h dash cluster KYB Super Street 4 way adjustable suspension (springs I'm unsure about, not stock because my original shocks + springs were in the boot) Blitz super sound BOV (not on the car, was in a kit in the boot) HKS EVC (old school one like in meggala's ceffie - not plugged in was sitting in the glovebox) SAFC (again old school item with the 5 knobs) 3inch exhaust (pretty crappy mild item but does the job) Recaro bucket + 4 point harness my climate control box was moved to my glovebox (gotta love more room for more guages!) GTR front bar/bonnet/skirts/rear bar/wing/I think the rear guards are pumped or GTR items/r33 grille (think it's an r33 grille.. anyone know?) Think that's everything
