Which model of work meisters do you have ? My brother-in-law, has 18x9.5 +23 meisters on his R33GTR, and there is still 4-5 mm of clearance. Did you use template properly ? Did you mean 6 pot Alcon kit as here : http://www.jdl-brakes.com/alcon-adv-extreme-brake-kit-front-6-pot-o365x32-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gtr.html

At JDL website, you can download caliper profile, and check clearance with your wheels : http://www.jdl-brakes.com/alcon-adv-extreme-brake-kit-front-6-pot-o365x32-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gtr.html From my experience 9x18 ET15 will work ok with Alcon 6 piston caliper.

I bought my first R32 GTR with Wilwood 330 mm kit on it. It was good, but not better than Brembo from R34 which I fitted few months later. Maybe I had some issue with pads from this kit, and that's why it didn't perform as it should. Anyway, I wasn't happy. It's still my #1 http://www.jdl-brakes.com/special-offer-alcon-adv-extreme-brake-kit-front-and-rear-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gtr.html

Anyone ?

Has anyone used brake ducts as they sell http://www.jdl-brakes.com/nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gt-r.html ?

Anyone wants Alcon rear kit ? SInce they offer free shipping for rear kit, I will order it, and will keep it for spares, but I thought if anyone wants rear too we can drop price little bit http://www.jdl-brakes.com/alcon-adv-extreme-brake-kit-rear-4-pot-o350x28-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gtr.html

It looks I was too fast with my purchase .... they offer free worldwide shipping for rear kit in christmas period, maybe someone else will use it http://www.jdl-brakes.com/alcon-adv-extreme-brake-kit-rear-4-pot-o350x28-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gtr.html

Just quick update. I received my kits last Monday, and I'm very impressed with JDL service. It took 4 days to get it. If anyone looking for great piece of kit at bargain price, I can recommend them Any chance for pics ?

Many of my friends had D2 on 300ZX, and it was nightmare. I don't know how people can buy that shit. If I can buy Alcons with forged monoblocks calipers, at similar price as chinese D2 on group buy, the choice is very easy for me.

If except of me, there are two more guys that want to order Alcon front and rear kits, then we can get for £2800 plus shipping. It is not big discount, from already reduced price, but still little cheaper.

Can you post pics here ?

Thanks for your feedbacks. I'll take Advantage extreme front and rear, price seems be very good. Anyone consider Alcons soon ? I thought we can get better price from them http://www.jdl-brakes.com/special-offer-alcon-adv-extreme-brake-kit-front-and-rear-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gtr.html if we order two or three sets at one time. Piggaz, do you recommend to use yellow Pagids instead of standard pads from this kit ?

I consider fitting bigger brakes to my R34 GTR. I used Alcons on my previous cars, and was very happy. I have one concern which type of big brake kit I should to fit to the car which is used 75% on a track. I thought about Alcon GT Pro Spec calipers kit, which is out of my budget at the moment, or normal Alcon Advantage Extreme kit and use it with track compound pads. Any feedback about Advantage Extreme kit used on a track ? I found some very good opinion about this kits used on a track on EVO and STI forums, so I think it should works very well with Skyline too. Also the price seems be reasonable, and in my range http://www.jdl-brakes.com/special-offer-alcon-adv-extreme-brake-kit-front-and-rear-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gtr.html Any feedbacks ?

It was common problem, especially in US 2009 models.

Which Pistons And Rods To Use: Rb26
DaanGTR replied to rb26stagea's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I have very good experience with Wiseco, that I used in two RB26 engines. I don't recommend Cosworth, had two sets, and both sets had issue with cracking rings. -
Of course, Alcon with mono block forged caliper won't be cheaper than chinese D2, but I meant Alcons don't have to cost $8000 what people suggest. I went trough checkout from this link http://www.jdl-brakes.com/special-offer-alcon-adv-extreme-brake-kit-front-and-rear-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-gtr.html and front ( 6 pot forged mono, with 365 mm discs ) and rear ( 4 pot forged mono, with 350 mm discs ) kit less than $4950 shipped to Australia, for SINGLE purchase ( not 25-50 sets group buy )

Looks very weird, and ... big

My Bayside Blue R34 Vspec Gtr - Finally Detailed
DaanGTR replied to iwanta34gtr's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
The cleanest R34 GTR I have ever seen ! -
I'm Daan and want to say hello from all SAU members. I'm proud owner of R34 GTT, and R35 GTR. Both cars are almost standard, but I think about some mods for GTR, as not many standard GTR left in Europe
