im dissapointed i didnt make it, but like i posted didnt get up till after 12 :S also it seems that my skylines clutch is getting a little worn looks like i have to start lookin round for a decent one to get any ideas would be sweet tho ;)

so far everything seems fine, ive given it a bit of a workout, bit of excessive revving ect installed a greddy turbo timer (was given that for bday) and a new pioneer headunit as well so its shaping up pretty good

well as mick said, i have my skyline on the road. spent most of yesterday installing the turbo timer i was given, the fact that the owner in japan decided hed leave his old one shoved up under my dash for me made things a little easier, bit of testing with the multi meter and it was all good. it needs a good clean all over really, still got stickers and crap all over the windscreens and that "super fine coating" crap on the back windows too. http://www.cpusmashcrew.net/pics/bels/line3.JPG more to come soon

i wasnt dissing you at all, i have no problems with excels, i said, you could see how the movie had boiled up peoples blood, as i witnessed someone in an excel try to drag a skyline. and mate, u must have one very fast excel, cause one of my friends owns one, and hes never come close to beating my silvia, not that i care, i drive a silvia, and im the scum of the earth because of it arnt i? yep i know, i get told by just about every other person that im a d*ckhead and a moron for buying something that i liked. EnricoPalazzo whilst i wasnt personally attacking you before, you still went ahead and attacked me not only in this thread but another one as well, not only you but other members of this forum. to put a "Ks" badge on my silvia that would mean im a ricer wouldnt it, hate to tell you numb nuts but that silvia has no mods on it at all, right down to the exhaust, so perhaps your the one who should think about things before opening you mouth, and no i never intended to mod my silvia, i forked over the money for a skyline, but now i doubt ill be able to enjoy driving with other skyline drivers as i once drove a silvia, it seems the skyline comunity doesnt welcome new comers to easily and seing as im having to defend myself in just about every thread i post into, i think i can get the message.

so the story goes, a pair of idiots in the US raced eachother after seing that movie, one of em plastered his car all over the back of another car or something. And you only had to stand outside in the cinima carpark and watch people drive out, u could see which ones had gone to see that movie, they were the excel drivers trying to pull drags with skylines and stuff on the way home....

least your trigger hose is accepted as watersaving device, its buckets or carlovers for us on the goldcoast

i have seen posts about the boostcruising cruise, but i wouldnt go cause silvia drivers usually get rubbished for owning a silvia, last time i went on a cruise mark0 was sposed to come on, he drove past the meeting spot we were all standing at, and went home :lol:

compliance should be finished by the end of the week, then its the plate wait, so perhaps around the 15th is a conservative estimate, even then it wont be perfect, theres things that need to be fixed, sun damage on the spoiler, scuffs and scratches on the bumper

im in the similar boat to squizz, went and checked out my car at the compliancers, it was very dirty but still very nice really lookin foward to driving it, just gotta wait for the work to be done

ah yes, i know where you cruised now, well ive gone up and over that mountain a few times myself, im still waitin on my 'line, ill have to make it the next one perhaps

ahem good to see my car is well adored ill have a heap better pics taken once i get hold of it, only compliance left to be done. When i saw the pics of it i just had to have it, and i had been getting tempted by a skyline for quite some time too. :)

002 NVS perhaps you could get it checked by 3 different places and have readouts of it and dispute it? its quite a lot of effort to go to just to dodge a defect, and i suspect they were just lookin for the other 2. isnt it something like they have to have 3 items to defect you on to fine you for it? im not sure, im only goin on whats been said to me, and ya never know really guess the moral is carry one of those silencers round and shove that in the pipe when you go to places like roma st or something perhaps? take it out when you leave or something

well nismogirl confirmed what i suspected, i was at aspley maccas the other night when i was out cruising with a few other s13 owners, and they mentioned that they thought they boost cruising mob met across the rd from the maccas i thought it would be better not to mention it cause i didnt know for sure hopefully oneday ill meet most of the qld members on this forum once i get hold of my new car i only know marko slightly. oh and ive chatted to nismogirl on irc. i would have loved to have come on the mad mt 4 cruise, but i know for a fact that my car will not be on the road.

nismogirl is unfriendly towards us silvia owners never been too good with thursday night cruising, usually i end up lookin like a zombie at work on fridays..

was out cruising in my mates car (strawberry face 180sx) thanks for lettin us know bout the plastic bag, thing got stuck in the brakes but it came out easy enough i spose. so yeah, thanks and *shakes fist* damn litter bugs

do you have a link or a unit number so we can check out the specs on it? im taking it that these are hand held units?
