  5. Hey sorry haven't updated this in awhile. Long story short it would be too difficult for me to fix this at this time so i sold it off and am going to get another car later on in the year when i have a bit more money to play around with and researched a lot more. I got to keep a few of the bits that were on the car and also had some things i hadn't got around to installing so the following are now up for sale - Genuine GT-R front bar (unused, still have it as i bought it as the car died before i fit it) $600 - R32 N1 Spec GT-R front bar (fibreglass) with some damage. (Black) $150 - R32 GTS-T Front Tie Rod Ends $50 for both - 17" 5 stud Enkei RP01s with brand new tyres $600 - HICAS Lock Bar (Unused) $80 - Kakimoto 3 1/4" mild steel Catback exhaust to a 4 1/4" stainless steel tip. (never got a chance to install it) $250
  6. so the car decided to spin a bearing in the bottom end. have no idea when i'll have the funds to fix it either some people get the shit end of the stick i guess
  7. I know this is a thread dig but i couldn't find the answer and i thought it'd be better to post here than to make another one so in the future when more people search it leads still to the same one topic.. to the question.. pretty much exactly the same as the orignial poster but the link to RHDJapan for the rubber plug has expired. Would anyone know where to purchase one and what is the size that i require?
  8. The chromies should be on the front of the VN with stockies on the rear for crazy single peggers or if you want to be a pro drifter welded diff for when you want to enter it in the D1GP
  9. Yep that's right sorry for not clarifying.
  10. Please PM me if you have one in good/reusable condition as my one is currently rooted. Looks like someone went at it with a chisel.
  11. if you have one for sale please PM me, thanks!
  12. As stated above, just after an r32 gts-t steering rack in good condition. PM me if you have one! thanks
  13. thanks for that, the sills are a bit worn. could do with replacing a little down the track but i'll get some up close photos soon to show you.. Unfortunately i had a pretty big weekend so wasn't feel well enough at all to get down and work on the car but in other news i dropped it off this morning to the mechanic and he gave me a small list of things that need to be replaced/added to get a blueslip and to get it on the road. the list is; - remove tint - exhaust (standard one on the way, just need to pick it up this week) - BOV (using a turbosmart v-port 2 and atmospheric BOVs are illegal) - either source a standard air filter/box for the GTST or get someone to fab up an enclosure for the pod - 2 new rear tyres - gearbox oil leak so need to get that checked out - front left tie rod end is stuffed so need to get a replacement. if anyone can help me (either point me in the right direction or even have some parts lying around) with the above parts i'd really appreciate it!
  14. Is my first post able to be edited? It was a direct copy + paste from my JDMST thread but i did it late last night after and forgot to change the intro
  15. here is a link to my build thread - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/414699-gus-hcr32-my-first-import/
  16. Thanks mate. Right now it's just to tidy her up and replace all the worn bits and just make she's running alright I'm picking up a standard exhaust of a member here next week as well getting a new glovebox (handle on mine is broken), a standard gear knob + the leather surrounds for the gearstick and handbrake. Also i'm getting pretty irritated with the Turbosmart V-Port BOV so i'm buying the HKS SSQV IV off an SAU member next week also and i'll change them over. Over the weekend my plans are remove the HICAS and give it a full service, fit new tyres and also attempt to give the engine bay a tidy up. Then on monday its booked in for a blue slip inspection I had my mate who is a panel beater come have a look at it and he told me the same thing, so when the car is on the road i'm going to take it into the shop he works at so we can talk about removing it. I'm hoping it's not too bad.
