  1. I was going to put 12mm on lol but I only had like 3 mm of stud left. With the 8 mm ones there is about 1cm maybe a bit more thread sticking out. I don't think they are hub centric as they could slip around. What offset are r32 GTR rims ? I have two of them that I might put on the back.
  2. Quick question. I have read lately that wheel spacers are very bad and will snap my wheel studs. I have 8mm ones front and back that I got from autobahn lol. They just sit in between the wheel and the hub. Are these bad and should I get rid of them?
  3. I honestly have no idea if you can test it with a Meter. But I'm sure someone with much more knowledge will comment soon.

  5. I had a similarly problem with my rb20det. It would randomly cut out or just stall when idling. I replaced my AFM and my CAS and it's all good now.

  7. so I have found the source of the rattle. it was the stone/heatsheild on the cat, I must not have put it on properly because it was loose and would rattle when the motor would shake.

  9. Ok first, yes I have had a search. There are lots of threads about clutch/gearbox noises. But that none similar to my problem. 1990 r32 gtst FMIC Stainless turbo back Coil overs Xtreme heavy duty single plate clutch Now the clutch is about a year old say 15000 km, the problem I have is that when I'm in first gear or reverse doesn't matter. If the revs drop low, while moving slowly like taking off, I get a loud metallic rattling. The cutch feels fine and so does the gearbox, it doesn't make this noise any other times except taking off very slowly when the revs drop low. I don't trash my car, no burnouts or launches mostly just taking corners fast. It's not a major problem as the car still drives fine it's just annoying. What do you guys think it could be. I reckon a finger on the pressure plate may have Broken.

  11. My rb20 silver top was being a pig. It would randomly cut out and jerk about really bad sometimes. I changed the AFM and the CAS and it fixed my problems. I think the rb25 CAS fits silver top rb20's, not sure about red. Good luck
  12. I was dreaming about all the things I could get for my car last night on nengun performance. I saw an apexi cat back for around 600. Looked nice but it was mild steel powder coated (I think) with a stainless tip. Had a silencer too maybe.
  13. I don't even remember making this thread lol. But We recently pulled apart my brothers sr20det, we found the exhaust manifold bolts were finger tight( all of them) and the alternator bolt was also finger tight 0.o

  15. That radiator panel cover thing looks good. I saw a white r32 GTR with a CF one. Makes the engine bay look heaps nicer
  16. Very cool. I never would have thought the actual boot was fibreglass. I'll just have to look on ebay for a boot lip.
  17. I know this is a very old thread but my r32 is doing the same things. It will completely cut out when driving like I turned it off, then just fire up again and keep driving like nothing was wrong. What has got me worried is the other day it was warming up and stalled, but came back on then a lot if black smoke was coming out the exhaust and it was idleing high like 2000 rpm. But when I drive it, it was fine. If you guys found the problem please let me know.
