Yes I did but if I move the cat- back back about 10 to 15 cm it fits, so I'm thinking its the front pipe that is too short but I really have no idea.. I'm just guessing pretty much. Someone on here must know what my problem is.It's quite frustrating.

I need to change back to the standard exhaust briefly and have been gathering all the stock components. I finally bought everything I need, I then tried to fit it all up but it doesn't quite fit my R33 GTS-T as it came up too short (about 10 to 15cm). Obviously the front pipe, cat or cat-back is off either a R32 or R34. I've looked at pictures of all of them to try and figure it out but its too hard to tell. I am hoping that someone with some practical experience could help me out.

After re- soldering those 4 pins in the AFM I've been driving around Sydney quite a bit and the other day I drove Newcastle and back. My problem is fixed! Thanks for the help!

No it's not a burn hole, its just glue. So I ended up just re-soldering the 4 connection pins which you can see in the 3rd photo because I could see one of the pins looked like it wasn't connected properly. Hopefully this fixes the problem but it will be hard to tell because it was a rare occurrence in the first place.. so time will tell. I like your idea of injector cleaner too Mick, I might do that as well since it's cheap and can't hurt by giving it a go also. Thanks for your help gents, I'll let you know how it's going in a few weeks time.

I have a 1993 R33 Gtst series 1 which I bought in June, the engine and ecu are completely stock (hard to believe I know) and the car runs completely fine... most of the time. About once every few weeks it will have a spasm and will not let me go past 2 and half rpm on any gear and jerks violently as if the revs are too high and just cuts the accelerator power once it tries to go past 2 and half rpm. I am thinking along the lines of something to do with the turbo or maybe AFM, I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if it is a common problem and if someone could offer me some ideas with with how to fix this problem. Any help/ ideas/ input would be appreciated. I have 2 videos I recorded today of this occurring but am unable to upload it as it is in mp4 format and am not sure how to convert it so it can be uploaded.

Sorry man, no one ended up buying these so I put them back on the car which I sold 3 weeks ago.

I've recently puchased my first turbo car R33 Gtst after selling my R34GT and have noticed that some things don't look quite right and was hoping someone can help my answer all or some of the following questions. 1. What connects to this plastic female clip piece on the throttle body and is it important? ..because my car is missing whatever needs to be there. (See picture to understand what I'm talking about) 2. I've been through a few threads on how to connect up the stock boost solenoid and would like someone to confirm for me that this is correct, because it's been a bit confusing. (See pictures with the blue Gucci looking tubes and Solenoid) 3. What bolts on to the mounting piece between the turbo and O2 sensor, is there meant to be a heat shield of some sort? And is my turbo meant to be rusting looking like it is or is it pretty common? (See pictures) Thanks in advance.

I have for sale a set of 18" wheels, they came off my R33 S1 when I bought the car and are sitting in my garage taking up space. Details are: 18" x 7.5JJ with 235 size tyres Tyres will need changing asap but are good enough to roll home on. No damage to any of the wheels, all of them come with center caps. Fits 114.3x5 bolt pattern and also some other bolt patterns Not sure of offset (roughly +40) ($350 firm) I am also selling a Rear Strut Bar (Red) to suit R34 Nissan Skyline I bought this strut brace brand new then sold my car before installing it, so it has never been used. $75 from Just Jap brand new. ($50)

These wheels came with my car when I purchased it and am selling them because I dont like them. Fronts: 17x8JJ Offset 38 5x114.3 with Milanza HZ1 Herc 225/45R17 Rears: 17x9JJ Offset 38 5x114.3 with Milanza HZ1 Herc 255/40R17 All four of the rims have some gutter rush on them.
