I did a self repair of mine bout 4 years ago using some rubber seal adhesive I had at home and it has worked a treat but if you don't have any at home the price of buying some might be better spent on brand new ones.

I have a spare front bumper but its Lakeshore Blue and has some minor damage, I can try take a few pictures for you if you don't have any luck finding one. I'm located in Brisbane tho so probably better try to source one locally first.

Brought a set of 350Z wheels yesterday, threw them on last night and its now currently getting a balance/alignment =) Very happy with the overall look of the car for now. Would still like to drop it an inch or so but i'm not in any hurry.

V35 Coupe 18" Stock Oem Wheels
LEE490 replied to LEE490's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Hey guys, Still on the market for some Stock V35/350z 18" wheels. Would like to get a set with road worthy tyres but would still be interested without tyres given the right price. Thanks. -
Started Flashing again today
-
Ahhk guess I just never took any notice of it before. I'll count how long it takes to go off when I next start the car. Thanks guys
-
Yes but it stays on about 5-10 seconds longer then the other warning lights which it never used to before. Still driving the car today and it hasn't started flashing again so seems to have done the trick (touch wood) but none the less I will get it checked next service which should be next month.

Mine started flashing on my way home from dinner tonight =(. Tried to reset it with the two methods above and it has now stopped flashing but still gives me a warning light when I turn on the ignition on but goes away after 10seconds or so. Will get it looked at in 500k's when it goes in for its 90,000km service.

Hey guys/gals, I am currently looking at purchasing a set of 18" V35 coupe wheels, I have found a set with %80 tread for $500 +$120 freight that I am interested in but thought I would check on here first to see if anyone around Brisbane area had a set for sale. Need to be decent condition as these will be my daily wheels.Tyres would also be preferable but not necessary. Thanks =)

Parting Out V35 Coupe 2003 Premium
LEE490 replied to 350gtcoupe's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
How much for Brembo brakes and Wheels? And are wheels still in decent condition? -
Yeah fully understand that's what made me pick up a V35 over a 350Z. Think I have used the back seats 3 times in the 2 years I have owned the car but its always nice to have the option.
-
Haven't been on carsales in a while but can you pick up a 370Z for under 40k? Might be an option if you want a Aus made car and might be a little easier to sell/trade at a later date.

$20.85 at Petrie Nissan. Thanks for the help guys now hopefully I don't do it again
-
Ok cool thanks for the advice guys, will go see Nissan on my way to work and if its cheaper might try my luck at the wreckers.
-
Hey guys! Me being the dick head I am forgot to put the lid/cap back on my coolant tank/bottle and it is now forever lost. Tried supercheap and places like that but haven't had any luck. Any idea where I can find a replacement? Tried looking for a bottle around the shed with a lid that could steal but they have all been to big. Here is a pic just so you know what I am talking about.

I'll buy the Foglights depending on you're location.

Recommendation Required: Wheel Spacer Questions
LEE490 replied to INSANITI's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
No they will only cover you for legal modifications so in the result of an accident they could dismiss you're claim if they feel the spacers may have contributed to the accident. I know lots of people run spacers but in my opinion they are just not worth it. Buy new wheels if you wont a better stance... couple of grand for wheels or the potential fines and cost of repairs on you're car and any other car involved in an accident. as said tho that's just my opinion so take it or leave it- 7 replies

All 4 wheels are on now and I am fairly happy with the result, Rears do tuck in a fair bit but after all they where brought for my old maxima. Might look at lowering it onto 350z springs next and then might consider buying a new set of wheels to fit the car a bit better.

What Have You Done To Your V-Series Today?
LEE490 replied to SMOKEYV35's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Had these 20" King Matrix's laying around from my old maxima so decided to throw em on the V today and was quite surprised by how good they looked and how well they fitted. Was considering adding a spacer but don't like to run the risk of my insurance not covering me in the event of an accident.Came up short a few nuts and have got it booked in tomorrow for a balance and alignment so will get them to do the rear while they are at it. -
Eoi: Motordyne Shockwave Tdx2 & Art Pipes
LEE490 replied to kvnz88's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Back when I had this on my car I never had it tuned and it was ok for the 6+ months I had it on the car. Did smell abit rich at times tho but still ran like normal but I would recommend a tune if you where to get one installed, I just never got around to it and had more important things to spend the money on so I eventually sold the exhaust. -

Haha I am half tempted to buy this back from you As being the previous owner I can vouch for the exhaust being in working condition with no leaks and dents. Good luck with the sale mate.
