  1. basically i would choose what subs you want and what power they run before choosing your amp... if you buy a amp with smaller capacity of course your subs won't reach full potential and also if you have to much power it will just drain more power than you need. i have a 700 watt crosfire amp running 2 10" alpine type s subs and that does the job for me. if you aren't going to be going crazy with it just goto a car audio place and see what deals they have for a whole kit alot of the kits are pretty good with everything you need to get started
  2. forgot to add if you do get audio from overseas the waranty may not be available for you over here cause i recently bought a MP3 player and if stops working i have to pay to get it fixed cause as soon as you come back here warranty is dead on alot of products
  3. yeah where abouts are you buying everything from? but everything should work fine its only when you get a japanese cassette deck when you might have issues i know a few people who have got cd player and cassette deck cd's and everything were fine but couldn't use tapes but don't really need them anymore
  4. in that pic where is the amp and if it hasn't been placed there where will it be placed remembering if the subs is running lots of power the amp in a confined space will most probably over heat... i found that out with my amp
  5. well are you going to have subs? if you are don't get 6x9's cause thats basically if you want base with no subs. i would stick to 6 or 6 1/2 alpine speakers you will find they have great sound and what do you have up front?
  6. why don't you go and say to the owner if you are to buy it he pays for the racq check and what not if he really wants to sell it he will fork out the $192 cause i am looking for a 32gtst at the moment and people have offered to cover all those costs
  7. i see a fair few on my travels through brisbane... probably cause i have to go from brookfield thru the city to morningside so on average i see bout 10-15 different skylines a day alot of stock 33's and a couple of 32's
  8. you can get a gtr 89 on the road for about 17,000-19,000 soon probably a bit less i think that is a good buy

  12. my stereo has to be turned off manually but thats cause some dodgey guy put it in i haven't had the problem with the clock... a good way to tell is just disconnect it and see if your battery still goes flat... also if you have an amp check the power light on it when you turn off the stereo it should only power up when the stereo is on...
