  1. Hey mate, just diggin up an old thread. Did you get the steering controls to work? what did you use for that? Thanks
  2. No idea? ive tried to find out a bit of info for mine, but no luck
  3. Hey mate, mine makes a sort of clunking sound. And its the clutch on the fan disengaging. I assume when the engine is cold, once you start moving the fan disengages so it can warm up the engine as quick as possible.
  4. Hey mate. do you have a pic?
  5. I was going to check the plugs but it got a bit late
  6. ^ btw mums car is a 350gt sedan
  7. Today Dad and I opened up my 300gt. It has 46,000 kms and there wasn't that much crud. we only took off the top half of the plenum and cleaned it out, it didn't seem worth going any deeper. There was a small amount on the throttle and we sprayed carby cleaner on it and it got rid of most of it. It all went back together no worries, it idles fine, and started first time. And it has reassured me that the kms are genuine.
  8. Nuwan at import revolution has wrecks at his factory, wouldn't surprise me if he has one
  9. I thought that the suspension between the 250gt and 300/350gt was slightly different. but for a 350gt i know that 350z parts are compatible. mum has yellow konis in her car front and rear and it makes a huge difference. its firm but not twitchy. the valves in koni shocks can also be adjusted softer, if the manual adjustment isnt enough
  10. Im going to clean the plenum, and have a look at the plugs. if they look foul i will replace them. But i think cleaning the plenum will help a lot. i will also be able to see how much crud there is and relate that to kms. i know heaps of these are wound back, but i have the original books that came with the car and it includes service history. it shows it was serviced very regularly. and my importer couldnt have wound them back because i saw the car as soon as it arrived. it all seems to add up. and i might put through some injector cleaner thanks for the tips
  11. Would the transgo kit increase wear on the gearbox since the shifts are quicker?
  12. Hey guys, i have a 2003 300gt and i have noticed that it idles a little harsh. Im not having as many issues as NISMO-61, my car has never stalled. it has 45,000 kms, and at idle its a tad harsh. i have also had a few misfires. its been suggested to change the spark plugs, (but they should be fine for those kms) and change the oxygen sensor. what are your thoughts? Thanks
