  1. My mate has a FTO and is about to get "scissor" doors put on it. Apparently it is as easy as moving the hinges and installing gas struts. Costing around $1500 Have seen a photo of it done and looks excellent. ( would look good on skyline)
  2. Right on lwells, Off with the wing!
  3. You sure that you do not have a dimmer switch? I do not mean to make a fool of you or me but just in case, The dimmer on a R33 is on the right indicator stalk. From memory it is just beside the lights switch. Does that make sense.
  4. That is hot! He has a bit of bounce going at the start though :0
  5. Do you have any photo's of this? I know that it is possible do get a bootlid that is flush with the Sides but cheapest price was $1095! Mind you it was carbon fibre, but would rather ave that and put it towards a power FC. Can dig up photo's if any one is interested.
  6. Nice pics... Just hope there is a similar showing in Brisbane!
  7. I think the spoiler-less look only looks good if the car has a good body kit on it. I have seen a few spoiler-less cars with out aggresive body kits and they look pretty plain. Note- Just my opinion TOnyGTSt - What happened to the skirts and rear bumper you had on your car?
  8. This sounds awesome. Excuse my ignorance but what date and time does it kick off. Keen to come but only as a spectator.
  9. Have never actually purchased from them yet as i try to purchase local to help out the little guys but intend on buying in the future. Have sent numerous emails and have always had quick replys and excellent prices. I spose the best bet is to wait until they put it on special, or when the YEN dies
  10. That is nuts! Thanks for the photos they are nice That is one big wing!
  11. Also interested in this. Can anyone elaberate on this
  12. Yeah all i can say is be careful! Had mine professionally done and the tacho ended up burgered any away.

  15. I like. Nice work
  16. I have found the usual, Money, Dirt and damn hair! Oh and matches
  17. No wonder skyline owners get "targeted" That frustrates me to no end...
  18. Gotta love... FORD sticking it HOLDEN! GO FORD
  19. Hey guys thanks for all the comments and info... After a short think about it i am thinking if i was to go ahead i would be aiming at a more realistic time of mid to high 12's. I really had no intention to replace the internals and money is of the esscence... Thanks again
  20. Hey how is it going? I am in the same boat as you! I currently have a MY98 WRX that i am trying to sell to get back into the seat of a skyline. Don't get me wrong the WRX is an awesome car but i understand what you mean when you said "I have a 2000 wrx and Its not really me" Having owned both cars i find that there similarities are few, about the only one that comes to mind is they are both quick and similar priced. At this stage i would like to add that what i say is based on my own personal experience. Differences include the smoothness of the skyline to drive over the WRX, Skyline is RWD, WRX is AWD and therefore the way the car can be driven in different circumstances changes, the list goes on. For me it bubbled down to - Skyline is RWD and therefor more fun to drive, it is smoother and looks better. I would deffinately recommend the swap! (obviously depending of the condition of the skyline)

    Brisbane motorshow

    Cheers guys... Saved me $15...
  22. BENM - Reason is as stated in my above post... I am not a fan of 4WD, not fun. And the fact that the RB26 have a reputation of being tougher and better to tune...
