I am in Brisbane and have just purchased an alarm and am wanting to get it installed into my MY98. The alarm has remote start and a turbo timer built into it. I have read over the instructions and it looks very simple as far as all the features are concerned as they are all pre programmed into the brain. My MY98 has already got a oldish alarm in it that will have to be removed. I have been quoted around the $300 mark to install and just thought that price was quite dear. Considering you can buy an alarm for $289 and the price includes installation i am just a bit unsure. What is a good price? Anyone know anyone good in brisbane to do an install? cheers

I have am about to purchase an alarm from the states and wondering if anyone knows any good alarm installers in Brisbane? I am after someone that is able to install remote start and in general is competant with alarms and immobilisers. Thanks in advance guys blx

Would have to say if you needed a 4 door that a WRX would have to be the only option as the 4 door skylines are horrible... The Skyline had exhaust, air filter, lowered, 17's The WRX has 18's, lowered, panel filter. Both fairly stock i spose...

I have owned both R33 GTS-t and MY98 WRX and think both are magnificent cars. I was just wondering what you all think about the two and what positives and negatives they have over the other... ME- Skyline was very smooth to drive and had fun drifting the occasional corner. Very powerful for both 0-100KM and for overtaking. Had minor trouble cornering (compared to WRX). A very sexy car. WRX Extremely grippy and quick of the mark. A lot rougher to drive yet would consider it faster than the Skyline, and has excellent overtaking power. Extremely good around corners and sticks well. Has a menacing look. overall the WRX is a great car but all aside I wish I had my skyline again as it was simply "more fun" (Anyone want to swap a WRX for an R33 GTS-t??) WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK??
