Thank you to every one that helped me out! I fitted it and it works great. The wire was exactly were you said it was jay i was looking at it upside down... But when i look at the diagram it still looks like it should be the other way round... For anyone out there reading this about to do there own my R33 GTS-t had a yellow wire with a blue strip through it as the tacho wire!! Thanks again for everyone's help will post a pic soon.

i went to do that but there was no wire going into that pin! Can you tell me what colour the wire is suppose to be? Also do you know what colour wire goes into the back of the tacho or is this suppose to be the same wire. cheers

Thanks for this info guys! I went to install it and 'pin 7' does not have a wire running from it so i stuck a wire running to the shift light and hooked up the red and black wires but when i got to the rpm it was suppose to light up it didn't do anything. Does anyone know what coloured wire comes from the the back of the tacho? thanks again for the help.

I am trying to install a shift light into my R33 and need to fing the wire that activates the tacho. I have been told that I need wire number 7 but i have no idea which wire this is. If anyone can help or tell me what colour it is i would greatly appreciated. cheers

That helped heaps cheers. All i need to know now is about the green wire. I have had a look at the tacho and there are alot of green wires but they all seem to have a line of a different colour through it. And i have also had a look at the ecu but have no idea which one is 'pin 7'. I NEED HELP Is anyone able to help me with a bit of extra information?? Thanks again.

I just got a shift light for my R33 GTS-t and need some help installing it. It has three wires - red - black - green These are what each wire does - Red -- 12V Positive power Black -- Earth Green -- Pulsed positive signal. Where is the best place hook these wires up... cheers

Thanks for your response... i am just curious as to where the air goes into the boost controller... The one i have is not marked. Does the air flow from the actuator??

I am having slight problems and have a few questions... Which way does the air travel?? Towards the actuater or away from it? Sometimes it boosts great then next time it goes crazy and boosts extremely high? Any help

Not too sure about the factory stuff but I was talking to a bloke who got his R33 from japan with "snow mode" 4WD! Not sure if it was factory but still i would like to have... actually he was trying to sell it but i had just bought mine... oh well

Heard a very similar story off a importer who visits japan every month!! I am hoping that it is true!

Just wanted to say that there is a convertor and you can normally get them from JB's hope this helps...

I have just installed my 785 today and found that if you do not earth to the vehicle you will blow numerous fuses...not good. When you turn it on is every thing reset back to normal? Like volume, track number etc.. I f so check that you have the power and continuous power in the right connections. Mine works fine and was great value for money...
