Hey how are you going. This happened to my old 95 GTS-t and since then seems to be a fairly common problem with the RB25DET as i have heard of it about 6 times now. Unfortunately I am not 100% sure on what exactly went on with mine when they repaired, but from what i can remember replaced exhaust manifold and that was it. had to take turbo off but don't think that possessed any real drama. Can anyone else help out on this? Cheers

Have been trying to get in contact with him for the last two days and have had no luck. Have called about 10 times and just rings out, what is the point of having a mobile if you do not answer it? Oh well giving up on that one. cheers

I am not sure what is going on but since today some attatchments will not get bigger. That i am unable to click on them to bring them up in a new window and see the bigger version. Normally a hand comes up whrn i run the mouse pointer over the attatchment but now it stays as a pointer. Hey guys, I am looking to install an alarm and turbo timer into the R33 i am looking to purchase. i am just curious as to what you all have and whether you reccommend it or not. So the TO4E is a direct bolt on for the RB25? What is it's power rating? Cheers

Best bet would probably be to take the panel off that covers the ecu and check for stickers on it. Most places that do chips will put a sticker on it. Not sure on any other way, I am sure someone else will though.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge about them but can you have multiple maps that are easliy changed. That is can you set it up for speed and then next time you drive change it to an easy tune. How much effort is it? Cheers

I am just curious as to the heights of your front bars and wether or not you have any trouble with speed bumps, shitty roads etc? I am looking to buy a certain skyline, Just that it has a 400R front bar on it plus lowered and it isn't very high of the ground. Cheers

Is there an option with it that you can increase the choke when it is cold? Whatsisname- Is there much difference between 8 and 12? Cheers

Would this problem be solved if you locked the hicas? That is would the light still come on if you have one of the hicas lock kits? CHeers

I drove a skyline today that had 220 RWKW and microtec L12 ( i think). But when it was cold it would constantly stall if you did not rev it. I was told it was because the aftermarket plenum was a lot bigger. Can the automatic choke be altered within the microtec to solve this problem? Or is there another way to fix this problem? Thanks
