I was watching ACA tonight and they had a issue on Car Rebirthing. They had a gentleman have his car taken off him because of this. He had a REVS certifacate and i was under the pressure that if you had a REVS certifacate that there was nothing the government could do as you bought it under clear title. Can anyone shed some light on what is required? Can they reposess your car like that? Cheers

Again i suggest doing a search as this has been asked numerous times. Having owned both a MY98 WRX and R33GTST It is my opinion that from the experience i had the WRX is deffineatly faster off the mark but the R33 has it all over the WRX in topend. Both of my cars where fairly stock (exhaust, pod) I perssonally would love to face them off and have seen. Again it really depends on what is done to each. my 2c

Yeah that is the steering wheel. That is a shame because it was a very nice car. Might go and have another look over it just to be sure though.

The thing is that every thing else about it is series two, bonnet, front bar, grill, rear skyline label is colour coded, seats, speedo and surrondings, dash... Only thing that isn't is the airbags. It is also in very good condition. Have seen cars before that have been in accidents so i know some of the things to look out for and it looks good.

I am looking to purcahse another skyline after selling the WRX. I went and had a look at one that i am interested in buying. The build plate says 1997 and everything suggests that except for the airbags. It has a single (95 style) airbag and no passenger airbag. My initial thought was that it has been in an accident and airbags have gone off and then replaced dash but i can not find any signs of damage what so ever. I don't understand how this could be a possibility, 97 was the second year of the series two and surely would not have come out with a single airbag. Can anyone shed some light on the this? Cheers

went and rang a performance centre and they said a min of $1000 to fix! Oh well thanks anyway
