    Again

Peter, So what do u intend to do with it mainly, Circuit, drag, drift ?
  2. I have a Stryder plenum which looks identical to that one suprisingly. Stryder are also located in bangkok. Funny thing is i didnt think they were selling these any more but now different company makes them. Experience with mine are all positive xcept for the warpped face flange, which meant i had to have it machined. made an extra 15kw from this and a hks exhaust manifold. But power shifted from peak at 6400 to 7000 and curve is fatter . Good quality welds and finish.

    Again

Hi Peter, Just read all pages in this thread, I cant believe i missed this thread and its been going for so long... Your workmanship and individualism is incredible, the nick you use on SAU is really an understatement cos ur a BLOODY LEGEND ! I mean pictures and dyno figures speak for themselves. 300+ rwkw out of a RB21 is simply awesome ! Hope one day we can meet and share stories . Cheers Pablo
  4. Congrats Peter thats great work !! Did you have any clearance issues using the hks manifold against the chassis?
  5. Peter specsorban ! Thats a Freakilicious result !! Please tell us its still a milk bottle displacement ?
  6. Antilag works by retarding timming and injecting extra fuel, it virually ignites the fuel right at the end of the stroke and therefore creating a "huge" explosion, this promotes the turbo to spool up at lower revs and under no load. For those of you with AL what settings are you using and what boost do u get in relation to RPM?
  7. Would u happen to have the tornado one in silver?
  8. Roy: on Mickey Thompsons 255/60/15, see attached time slip. I only got 1 run on the MTs as the previous 3 were on shity falken zeis... Next time im out im aiming for 11.999 (just so that i can say i have an 11sec unopened rb20). Although I think power is limiting factor to get there @ 235rwkw. MADGT4: Weight is a big factor, I weighed mine @ work the day before the drags and it came back at 1320Kg without driver and 1/4 fuel in tank. I think that being awd is equivalent to having a rwd r32 with MTs. So my guess is that you should get a mid 12 if ~220 - 250 rwkw Wheezy: It can be difficult to see if it is actually warped, if in any doubt i suggest to get it machined ~$40-80. Or put it on surface that is dead flat and look for any gaps especially on the ends...
  9. Its a Stryder plenum, unfortunately they dont make them anymore... paid 600... it would have been easy to bolt on it the std runners were flat, it wasnt until it was all in that i realised that it was warped and air was going in from outside, had to get it machined flat, and it was all sweet... both AAC and IAC valves are working fine.... Did a 12.55 last week at WSID , I will be going back soon to try out the Anti-lag feature on the Haltech...
  10. Car: R32 GTST Turbo: 2535 Tyres: M/T 255 Date: 02-05-07 Time: 09:58pm Output in rwkw: 235 Track: WSID Reaction time: .446 60ft: 1.868 330ft: 5.274 660ft: 8.122 ET: 12.55 MPH: 107.8 First time @ any leagal drags.. loved it !

  12. Back up for sale after someone failed to come up with the cash.
  13. price drop $300
  14. How do the std fittings come off? I tried pulling them off but all they did was spin... Mayb I hadnt eaten my weetbix...
  15. Its all top end now, at the price of loosing some down low. Its all happening between 7000 - 7500rpm. Doesnt fry the 265s like i would of thought as the curve is fairly linear down low... here is a pic of the plenum...
  16. 90 mm it is ! Pics attached
  17. Still up for sale this one ! More suited to big power house, but any modified motor will rip the benefits of this mother of all AFM !
  18. Roy that looks AWESOME !! i just mine tuned with the hks manifold and FF plenum. The 2535 is running out of efficiency, only way to make more power is to fit a bigger turbo, altough it would be tough to fit it on the low mount mani. I think shes ready for some track runs now ! ill b going to WSID first then in July to the SAU track day...
  19. Just got my car tuned with this on, it made an extra 15KW, however i also changed the intake manifold too so i dont know how much of that is attributted to the exhaust mani. Peak power is now at 7000 to 7500 from 6400 so the RB20 loves to rev ! Only issue is that being a low mount mani you are very limitted to the size of the turbo you can put in there.
  20. Still up for grabs after 2 back downs !
  21. Q45 AFM Good Condition $300 Located in Syd
  22. Excellent Condition Located in Sydney Asking $1100
