  1. Wind out the rpm needle and rev the crap out of it. Take off the air filter. Lean it out some more, but more than likely change the plug. Or you could sit it there on the spot winding up the revs before you go over a thicker patch
  2. I am currently in the process of removing the dead engine from my R32 gtst with RB20 and I seem to be struggling with undoing the bolt on top of the starter motor. Any ideas how to get this sucker undone? It's up tight and good and won't come undone with the little sockets. Unfortunatley I can't get enough purchase on the bugger to rip him off with the breaker bar. The only way I can think of is to remove the gearbox and engine mounts and lower the engine and gearbox to get at the bolt? But this seems to be alot of mucking around to get the starter out. Also does the box have to be ripped out as well and the tailshaft removed? Cheers!
  3. Looking for a r32 gtst turbo in good condition as mine has dropped a seal. Looking at paying around the $200 depending on condition will pay more. Would like pictures. I'm located on the Central Coast NSW but willing to pay post Cheers

  7. Item: HKS Superflow Airfilter Location: Central Coast, NSW Item Condition: Excellent, as new still oiled up nicely Reason for Selling: Was on the car when purchased and too loud induction noise for me, and wanted standand air box. Been on car for just over 1 month Price and Payment Conditions: $110 ono Extra Info: Comes with bracket, filter, cage, and adaptor for R32 gtst. Unsure if it will fit other models but dont see why not. The filter was tested on my mates 2.0L pulsar on the dyno to test flow and kw gain compared to K&N panel. Gave an extra 7kw atw (alot for a pulsar) when compared to his cai k&n panel filter, flows 7% more than the K&N, overall excellent for power gain and gives a very loud induction noise. Contact Details: PM or reply

  14. You will have have insurance problems, but doubt it will that bad. Just might need to pay extra If it is really noticable more than likely at some stage you have a bit of attention from a few officers, as long as it isn't jet black tint it should be ok
  15. I did this yesterday as my air con does not work at all, and does not seem to engage either. My temps during the test (was hot at the time) 30, 31.5, -24.0, 29 Would that mean that the same sensor as yours needs some attention? And also the evaporator might need to be replaced? It does seem to go on at all so it might just need re gas and new intake sensor? Also my fault number was 25, the same as Oosh. What fault is that? Cheers!
  16. Does it do when you are taking off? When you start moving the car? If this is the case it is more than likely a suspension problem like new bushes.

  19. What i'm saying is when you are driving and it detects the radar signal and you turn it off, the police detector will know that there was one in use. If you have it permantly off then obviously you will get away with it. If you don't let them search the car it will be impounded, and it will be an expensive time for you, simple. If you let them search it, and they can't find it, then you might be lucky and get let off, but their job is to impound the car on the spot. Trust me champ everyone says they can't be detected but they can if they are on. If your driving in a group of 10 cars and the patrol car goes the other way and detects it, he will more than likely turn around and pull over every car where it came from
  20. If you have one in your car and a police detects that you are using one, they can search the car for it. If they cannot find it, the car will be impounded and you will still get the fine and the points. 6+points and 1000+ fine. And that means tow fee, holding yard fee, and taxi home on top of all that. But you might be lucky if you actually admit you have one rather than denying it, as it can be electronically detected easily. Even the 'undetectable' ones are easily to detect even if you constantly turn it off, so all I can say is, do the speed limit
