Not having been on any sort of cruise for the best part of 7 / 8 years it does seem a lot quieter now. Police attention was one reason I got out of the scene in 2007 (the other was building houses) Mind you like any gathering of people the moron quota was always a downer for me and was why the novelty wore off after a handful of meetings. Hindley Street / Freedom car park was notorious for meets but more so for the cancer that infects this scene... just cause you can afford banged up 4 door R32 that does mad skids in the hills does not mean you have anything in common with most of those that I went to catch up with and say gday too. None of my mates care for performance cars so now my only outlet is the occasional kind remark with someone at the servo / shops and the occasional wave of respect on the streets when I pass by another Stagea. I'd still attended now the occasional daytime meet to have a look at peoples cars and a cruise down the southern coast is fun in a small group or by myself. It's a bit sad this rarely happens any more so i just stay in my own little world and enjoy the slow progression of my own car Cheers Beau

I remember parking my car at the back of the car park facing a overgrown bush to try a hide my c-west carbon bonnet (white R33) Pretty darn lucky but it certainly sobered me up to the pains of car cruises.

I've been on a NS criuse where this happened as well (8 or so years ago). Those of us who got away with zero regency notes were lucky enough to drive out of one of the car park entrances when one of the cops was presumabley needed elsewhere. Was a very painful night for many people. On the topic of car parks i never understood why people organise cruises from public car parks? Bunnings, Big W etc... something to me always looked suss standing around a public car park even in the middle of the day. I always liked the beach meet points we use to use for our south cruises

Amen to that... first cruise i went on 10 years back saw a write off in the first 2 hours. CDan't stop the "P" plate heroes sadly... everyone who has been on a cruise is bound to have some sort of "wanker" story tho. Seems having a cheap, clapped out import also gives you a licence to abuse it. Still, fingers crossed for an incident free day... i'll try get along to have a peak at a few cars. I'll be in my comfy wagon

It's been 10 years since I last frequented car cruises and i can't agree with this enough. I have no idea how the scene has changed in that time but i bet the police have not

fitted nismo dash... next will be HDI intercooler however when my kit arrived last Friday the core had been damage (5 badly bent fins and 1 tube damaged) So that will have to wait.

so i had some time to try replace my stock cluster with my nismo one... this guide was helping perfectly until i had to remove the ignition and surrounding plastic from the stock cluster underneath. the bottom and side clips seem to come off easy but for all my trying the top clips will not come loose. I have stopped for now through fear of breaking something... Did others have any issues with this step at all? I'm at a complete loss at what to do now... Cheers

Ok to be more specific i don't know what code it is either... How does one read which code it is? I assume i require some sort of device? My factory screen is not translated yet (which appears to want to tell me something) and my local mechanic could not find anything wrong with the car... reset the ECU which got rid of any engine light. 3 weeks later it is back. I owned an R33 for years and never ran into this issue. Would prefer to see someone who has any expirence with M35's down south.

Emanage Ultimate arrived monday, HDI intercooler should arrive before friday, have a 260 nismo dash sitting in my lounge room and a Greddy boost controller somewhere in garage... At some point i'll get time to start fitting things before i order more parts

Sorry to bump an old thread but i have just ordered a HDI Intercooler and remembered seeing somewhere a link to thermo fans people used for the job. Sorry to bring up an old thread but anyone have the product number for the Bride recliner rail for a M35 (Euro II) I assume the RO type rail is the one i need not only to sit lower but also have the plug for my electic seats (or is the plug associated with the seat)? I found a seat now i just have to track down a rail. Cheers

Spotted that bloke who lives down Seaford way in his silver M35 coming round the round about near the Noarlunga train station. I was coming the opposite way in the dark blue M35. Sounded nice but was too dark to get a decent look.
