Thanks guys, I went into JB today on my lunch break and asked the sales rep. what he could do for me (head unit, amp and sub in box) he was going to flog me a nice Sony head unit (mp3) - 2 channel 2x150 300w amp (Candence) - JBL 12" in box. Was only a saving of $80 off sticker price so I told him I would think about it. I was looking at the head unit cos it was $439 and price marked down to $219. In the R32 I've been told that getting some 6 x 9's is a waste of time and money... true? Hope to do the install B4 the GP show n' shine in next 2 weeks, probably get everything from JB in the end.

My R32 has a re-mapped standard ECU running a T78 and it runs fine... saying that I bet it would run a hole lot better with a PFC or MOTEC but that's in the near future. My advice would be to get the aftermarket ECU so you will never have to revisit this question again... no matter how crazy your mods get. Power FC seems to be the pick of the bunch with many workshops able to install and tune at resonable prices.

Heaps of people - great weather - good cause - majority were good hot cars. Took a few pics but have left my camera transfer USB cord at work so will post up tomorrow. Anyone heard about how the MASSIVE CRUSE went? It took at least 8-10 min for all cars to exit the car park approx. 50-60 cars or more? (correct me if I'm wrong) Hope all went well even though I don't think any SAU guys tagged along.

I have about $800 I want to spend on a system for my GTR. I have speakers for the rear and front already 6" Pioneer - I want to get a AMP, SUB and HEAD UNIT. What do you think will go well together within that budget?

Get the same thing in my 32 - just open the window and undo your shoelaces. Would also like to know if it can be fixed. My A/C was never put back in after shipping... could that be a cause?

If Park and Ride has cameras and a guard then I bet the guard was in on it?? I know that when I knew a few doggy ppl back in the day, they would team up up with guards in the city car parks and let them have a free run of the joint. Have you asked to view the tape? It must have caught something, at least exiting the car park. Will keep my eyes open... don't live to far from there also.

Getting a nasty unit made up for me... very restrictive and full of cotton wool from DAALDERS in box hill, you know the bolt on bolt off type - I think the reason my car has issues revving to 5100 in neutral is that it still has not had a tune and once it gets to about 4500 it pops and carry’s on like it's going to spew it guts. Driving on load is another story though. I'm very happy with the tyres though and the alignment, it's has improved what was already go-kart like handling...very happy! Now only need to get the RWC and I"M BACK BABY!
