I need the following: HELP... Standard air box (can this be done with the T78 set up?) What should I do about the boost controller??? Hide it? Most of the other things I can organise myself. I will be booking my db. test @ DEALLDERS-spelling? early next week. If I don't pass I will fill my zorst with cotton buds till it does. I will be getting 2 x tyres and wheel alingment mid week (probably Donnellans-spelling? Box Hill) Wiring - my stero does not work anyway so I'm just going to rip it all out. I will be buying a steering wheel from Autobarn probably, anyone know of a place that sells padded steering wheels cheaper than Autobarn? (this one is crok in my eyes caus the VIC ROADS and RWC tester both sighted this when I got the car complied?????) Ground clearance (100mm) I think it passes already - I have Tien HA sus. anyway Any help much appreciated. Robin

Anyway I CBF'ed gouing into it all right now as I'm destroying my keyboard as I type, I AM SO ****ING MAD - I have a MAJOR DEFECT NOTICE on my car and needed to get it towed (what a ****ing wank) my car is safer that 99% of the shitboxes out there. I got done for: Intercooler/ Pods Boost Controller 2 x front tyres (for those that went on the Portsea Cruse, they are pretty bad but not ****ed) Ride Hight (100ml) easy Exhaust noise (EPA test) Internal wiring (stero AMP) Steering Wheel (needs to be padded center) Front end alingment (cause of my fronts getting worn??) All this needs to be done in next 7 days They placed the DEFECT notice in the middle of the windscreen (I can't see shit when driving - how am I going to drive around to get this shit fixed... do they expect me to tow the ****ing car all over town to get it complied??) And, I got done for driving an unroadworthy car $265 My licence expired about 3 weeks ago and I have not had it re-issued yet $107 (Ironic as I work next door to VIC ROADS) I have done nothing wrong in the way of respecting the road rules, sure these things can be fixed. I reckon at the very least with the fines I'm up for $1300. Also, being a short week coming up I think I will struggle to find the time to get everything done. Could not have happened at a worse time. I'm extreamly busy at work with a new product release (Monday) and a $600,000 Harvey Norman order to ship by Tuesday and 80% of my staff have booked time off after Wednesday public holiday... my bosses will not be keen to give me time off next week to run around getting shit done to my car. I will start a new thread now and list the thing that I think SAU may be able to help me with and advice on how to best resolve my delema. EDIT: The cop also asked if I was XXXGTR from the nissansilva.com forums - I'm not a member on there... who is using my number plate as there forum name??? I think that may be what caused me to be pulled over in the first place cause that was one of the first things he said to me.

I have gates, but they were not open and I was kind'a on the footpath bit of my driveway. Will keep thread alive once it drops to page 2 if I get the EPA notice. Speeking to a EX-COP this morning @ work, it does not matter if you are in your driveway. They can still ask to have a look at your licence and check out the car? I guess I was lucky...but then again, I did nothing wrong.

Got pulled over in my driveway tonight. I live off Burwod Hwy. I was at the ANZ on crn. of Warrigal and Burwood Hwy. coming back from my basketball game tonight. Down the road about 150m is a set of traffic lights that a persuit car was held up at, I saw him as I finished with the ATM and knew straight away once I pull away and he catches up he will most probably get me. Anyway I have about 600m head start caus he is still at the lights by the time I pull away... but get stoped at the lights near Audi and the graveyard on Burwood Hwy. By the time I get away from the lights (doing the speed limit) my head start is reduced to only 100m. I turn off to my street not far from the lights and sure enough he follows me, I make another turn and I'm in my driveway...20 seconds later he is at my house and asks me to come over to his car. Cop: "Do you know the speed limit around these streets" Me: "50" Cop: "Be nice if you could do it" Me: Blank look???? Cop: "Have a nice night" or something like that and speeds off. I'm not upset about it at all, but I bet if he got me 20m B4 my driveway I would have been given the whole treatment (anal probe) So, I know that the persuit cars love to nab people up the road from my joint @ REECE plumbing (they get cars coming up the hill just B4 the BP) so me and the girlfriend take the dog for a walk and sure enough there he is. I did not want to walk past him so I cross the road to give the dog a run @ PLC. He speeds of down the road chasing??? Hope I dont get an EPA notice. My rant.

I had a few things stolen in my car using them and also missed the boat once...not sure if that was the importer or the shipping co. Car was shipped to Brissy and then trucked to Melb. - I picked it up straight from TOLL in laverton caus it takes 4 days to get from Laverton to Burwood ???? (about 45min)

Good weather this weekend... any chance of getting some more shots done. I think we should meet up in the city one evening over the weekend and just hunt down some good locations as a group - colins street bridge for starters - St. Kilda Rd looks good at night ????? Anyone? Looks like it will almost certainly be a Financial Year calendar also.

Got flashed by one on cnr of Wellington and Stud about 6mths ago... no fine ever... but that was when the fixed camera issue was in full swing.

I'm keen for shot's in the city... but not on NYE05... can another day be allocated for the city too? Put me down for another shoot on either 3rd all day or after 6.00pm on 4th if you think I need other shot's done (last location was not ideal - my pick ) Can ppl start throwing in some ideas for good locations so we can pick and match according to Greg's timetable.

Only 4 cars turned up today. 3 members and 1 non-member. Greg was not to impressed with the light @ 6.30 so we had to wait a while B4 taking any shots. Not to sure how the shots came out?? Greg can you post some pics of the shoot up? Or do you want to keep it under wraps for now or untill product is finished? Location is on corner of Springvale Rd. and Burwood Hwy. Enter off Springvale Rd. going Nth. @ MYOB Building or enter off Burwood Hwy. @ Lakeside Drive (where VIC Roads is) I wold say that the MYOB car park is the best meeting spot (out in the open) Someone may want to drop in and scope the place out if passing by in the next few days. Please don't blame me if the location is not ideal... but we will have many other shots and locations to visit B4 final compilation is made.

Locations: Tally Ho Business Park - Burwood. Has lots of places to take some good shots. Industrial Buildings - Hi-Tech Buildings - Scenic Lake Backdrop - Smooth Surface - Heaps of space and different locations. Graff Wall - There is a great graff piece on Ferntreegully Rd. that would make a nice backdrop if your into that sort of thing. Cop Station @ night - Bit of Fun... "DEFECTED DECEMBER" New Quay - Docklands Telstra Dome @ night - heaps of room and not much action around the stadium itself + looks GRAND & Bright with NEON + some of the buildings around it are "interesting" Performance Shop - ????????? Just some initail ideas

Cop said the same thing It was silly but I had planned to visit my cousins bar (Cape Lounge) just after opening a few years back for a few drinks and got a bit carried away with the free booze and was only sporting my shorts and a singlet so left phone, wallet in glove box for the night while I went out and got tanked (no pockets)... next morning I go to collect car and my window is smashed and shit is everywhere. I parked opposite Sambuca Bar so I thought it would be sweet as so many ppl and lights in that area. My bad... once again.

My problem seems to have fixed itself or I fluked it this morning while checking over plugs and hoses. I just removed and blew,wiped then replaced. So I'm off this morning to get the new plugs from Autobarn and I test the boost and no dramas at all. It's been sweet all day. I am going to start looking for another ECU and get the tune done ASAP. My brother in-law has a MOTEC M48 out of his WRX that he is trying to sell http://www.wrx.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13406 I can pick it up offhim cheapish but I'm not sure if it will run the GTR I think it will but I'm not sure???
