  1. Fuel pump. Is it still for sale? How much power can it flow? (IE is it off a turbo or standard and does it matter?)
  2. so what is the cheapest nastiest fuel pump that will do the job
  3. C'mon, help me out here, all the fuel pumps for sale are all in-tank pumps.
  4. mines no more than 400hp and it has to be external because its on an HR30.
  5. Is there a cheap pump of a local V8 or the like that will flow 400hp (just to be safe)
  6. Problem is back but it doesn't happen when you rev out at 75% throttle so it is either plug gap or not enough fuel (I am betting it is fuel as it can ping)
  7. If you don't buy it already done you will never do it and it will piss you off for all eternity. Best way to get more RWKW is to chuck the slusher. Get it with the lot done. For $600 you are getting the pedal box clutch, clutch lines, gear box and having it installed. If you don't have enough money then borrow it. Get the manual!!!!!
  8. Thanks for that! I might have to take it to Calder once I've done it. But then again I am too lazy to check the plug gaps so it probably wont happen
  9. Car is running fine now, I cleaned corrosion off the ignitor and cleaned the carbon tips (like I said before) It is pulling all the way to 7000 with out missing and boy does she bang into second gear. No I haven't, I am far too lazy that even when I had the coil packs off I couldn't be stuffed pulling the plugs out. What gap should I run in an RB20DET running 13-16.5 psi? (I thought it would be different to RB25DET b/c of the different compression ratios)
  10. Yep, I did a search on coil packs. I could not see cracks on any of them but three are not original coil packs so it has had problems before (one is off a CA18). I just checked the multimeter reads .4ohms resistance so they are all .8ohms so they are fine. Any idea on testing the ignitor with a multimeter? (BTW its running a little smoother with the carbon tips cleaned)
  11. Willing to pay bottom dollar. Can get them on ebay for $100 for a set so if anyone want to get rid of a set for this or less please PM me. Must be tested and between .6 and .9 ohms I am located in North East Melbourne.
  12. I'm interested. Are they still for sale? Have you tested them?
  13. I am after a set of coil packs tested to read .6to .9 ohms. Can you help?
  14. Used an expensive multimeter. Now I have 1.1 ohms resistance...
  15. Oh yes, and now I have cleaned the carbon tip as per instructions from rb20det.com.au
  16. My car is missing in high rpm so I thought I'd check the coil packs. They all read 1.2 ohms when you measure as per the instructions http://www.powerlink.co.nz/~graeme/faq/30.html As they are all at this level I am thinking there is a chance it is the $20 multi meter more so than the coil packs I have my dodgy multimeter dial set to 200ohms, is this correct? Also how do I test the ignitor/amplifier?
  17. I have heard a place called injectronics in Dandenong fixes them. I'll get some details..
  18. Japskyr33- its the coil packs breaking down, sounds expensive
  19. That is exactly what mine does, pulls damn hard but then starts to miss and crap itself all the way to 7500rpm. What the hell is causing this?
