  1. XD haven`t seen it my fault
  2. Hope it`s not too late 15213-W040A
  3. No no i love sarcasm but i felt to take a look at their prices
  4. Syvecs S8 retail 2500 GBP!? thats absolutly not reasonably priced
  5. Okay so i`ll do it that way...comming year i`ll upgrade to an HKS GT-RS clone the GT2871R (or will be the GT2876R better?) because i have the Turbinehousing from a GT2535R which has the same turbine as GT2871R and GT2876R. I guess the EMU is fine at this point...or am i still wrong? O.o and when i finished the Engine i`ll go for the TD06...but with a stand alone then... Which one is the best and easier to tune? I still wanna use NVCS...i like the character of the RB25det...not much till 4500rpm but above it runs :-) oh reasonably priced of course ^^" is there something with R33 Harness??
  6. @ Mark thanks a lot! youre post doesn`t say that its waste of time and cash which was spend ^^" if thats so that it will be good but maybe not good enough to tune it to my level so i will try :-) @ Wolverine i wasn`t looking on the WWW "why is EMU crap" -,-" i`m not that stupid. But i can`t find reasons why to trash it...buying a old standalone like PFC or new other stuff for lot more than twice the price of the EMU is not logical for me when the EMU can reach my goal. @ Zebra why was it rubbish? what was wrong? @ Josh it wasn`t handy? thats all? gonna spend a bit time on it to understand it. Can`t be possible that Japanese guys are an other kind of Human and only they can understand EMU XD i see...nobody can tell me why it`s a stupid piggyback and why and what trouble it makes i try to search the board again...hope i`ll find some good posts :-/
  7. yes because heres no concrete reasons for me so far why I should take a different ECU... ..its not a help to designate something as crap without explanation and justification :-/ in different boards i read that it`s only good for mild tuning (stage 2) then the other boards say it`s fine because it can as much as a standalone but it`s limited... So...i can`t find anything on the WWW which says that the ECU is really crap...maybe it`s not the best option but it works. mostly to read is that it`s fine... can i alter the Nissan ECU signals enough with the EMU or not? if not then it`s clear...i need a standalone but if the range of adjustability is enough i will try it with. Don`t think wrong about me... ..i`m a JDM fan and I will never say that EUDM (BMW etc) cars are shit if I can not justify it...unfotunatly these cars are in many cases big shit but i know it and can explain...
  8. nevermind penises we all have one... this thread is about TURBOOOO!! I know that a piggyback isn`t the real deal but i`m not a Harakiri street/track racer...i`ll just want that power to have it ^^" i love it to floor it for few seconds and be pressed in the seat... Here in switzerland it`s almost impossible to use more than 100 engine hp...legal The R33 is my sunday ride and i`m using it a bit for touge (god bless the alps) and maybe 5 times a year on the track for drift & fun. I`m a pretty economical driver...simply because of money at the moment 10,5l per 100km. Question is...will it do the Job or not? btw. even a strap on can satisfy (i`ve heard so :-p)
  9. I've read now in a lexus forum about the tunability from E-manage Ultimate vs. AEM EMS. The Tuner which explaind has written... EMU is good for a daily because it runns smoother and idles better because of the factory ECU issue wit the EMU is that its not so exact tuneable in detail as a stand alone so it can be that in high HP aplications may rough timing occure or other EMU mistakes which shouldnt be a real problem for a daily or street car. The guy builds a 370rwkw 2jz-ge+t and uses the EMU to find out whres the limit of the EMU
  10. give me a link to understand it...because i can`t find anything about it :-(
  11. got a cooler because the Autobahn and few tracks as Nürburgring, Hockenheim, Dijon and smaller are not so far away and when i go pushing it shouldn`t get any heat issues... i have enough gauges ^^" Fuel pres, Oil temp, Oil Pres, EGT, Boost, A/F, Speed, Injection...so i`m confident that I do not lose the overview ;-) FPR isn`t needed i know but i got one :-p whats wrong with the e-manage?? there are other cars which running 700+ with e-manage BLUE o.O I know that it sounds stupid...spending big money on the engine and skimping on the ECU but seriously...WHATS WRONG WITH THAT? I do not see any advantages to buy a expensive ECU like LINK, MoTec, Haltech or other stand alones...mine EMU was pretty inexpencive and i`m able to make everywhere corrections 16x16 resulution... don`t make me unnecessary anxiety without justification btw. why does it makes just fine?? (the setup) i`ve seen 500bhp (engine) builds which were done on a stock engine...nothing forged or head work only big turbo, injectors, mushroom filter and free exhaust. What do i need to get it right when you say its only fine? ^^"
  12. Okay so i`ll take when it comes to it to a water cooled core TD06 25G IWG...still don`t know why theres a problem with the gates (as posted page 1) because nobody answered that question but as far i know it`s the same issue with better chinese chargers...the gates are too small so i will port it and put a bigger flappy in. Or i can get a Hyper gear ATR43SS2 for a good price. Also i still don`t know where the China manifold broke on the Dyno (as posted page 1) but i will reinforce it and hope it will hold...btw. is it a good idea to build a manifold from 2 or 3mm non stainless steel? Future Spec: (almost all part ready in garage) - 87mm Block with MLS HG, Wiseco pistons, shot peened RB26dett Rods with ARP Bolts, Balanced Crank with Crank coller, N1 Water + oil pump - Aerospace grade blasted Cylinderhead with machined channels and combustion chamber, Tomei Poncams and standart Lifters (maybe Tomei Valvesprings...but rev limit will be only about 7500rpm...) - TD06 25G or ATR43SS2 at 20 PSI (possible to go more on standart lifters?) China Manifold as long as it holds ^^" - ARC induction Box, ARC FMIC Turn Flow - 3" Dp, 200cpsi Cat, 3.5" HKS Super Drager - TOMEI 270lph Fuel Pump - 740cc Nismo Injectors (+Nismo FPR) - E-Manage Ultimate - 16 row Oil cooler with thermostat I think that should be a good enough set to get the 300rwkw...or am i wrong?
  13. thats not necessary because they have no clue about the turbo...no one will ever tell which turbo was fitted at the homologization ^^" only thing what they can say is that it`s been low and not top mounted. I want minimum 500hp at the fly low mounted and if possible IWG. thats my goal and less than that is not acceptable ;-) so...why is there such a big difference between low and top mount manifolds? i`ve seen yesterday a pic of a KAZAMA Low Mount and it doesn`t look so different than mine...a second chinese manifold which u can buy on e-bay looks really crappy... the one that i got http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-Skyline-R33-RB25DET-Turbo-Exhaust-Manifold-T3-MF6205-/190481976244?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c599c4bb4 the one that looks crappy http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/low-mount-T3-turbo-exhaust-manifold-NISSAN-skyline-cefiro-STAGEA-RB20-RB25-TURBO-/231115499171?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35cf8ea6a3 i think mine is the better construction even the quality is same china 50:50 crap heres a TOG Manifold same piping as mine china http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOG-Steam-Pipe-NISSAN-SKYLINE-R32-R33-R34-RB20-RB25-LOW-MOUNT-EXHAUST-MANIFOLD-/181343084383?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a38e3df5f
  14. great dyno sheets!!! Thanks a lot! well...i would love to fit a top mount but unfortunatly my R33 is tested and registrated with oem low mount setup. With 300rwkw+ i will drive absolutly illegal on street but thats no problem as far as no one is seeing that it`s not standart like. At the Homologization they made a pic of my engine bay...NOT FROM TURBO so when i fit it top mount and the police or (MFK)
  15. no no it`s not died :-D I hope I will never have to experience how my motor dies.. In my R33 still lives the first Engine and it runs pretty well but i`m sure it will not live forever and because it`s old and i don`t know about his life before ME i`ve decided to buy a second RB25det to built it and make it as proof as possible for my budget and the power. The first engine which is still running i will overhaul then...will be as new from factory :-) So i have now a completet engine in boxes thats why i was able to make a Pic of both manifolds. Is the oem manifold not restrictive compared to china? Oh and.. i bought 2 years ago a RB25det with a strage damage...the owner had no idea what was wrong... Car was STOCK only a catback and HKS mushrom. At Autobahn 120km/h 5. Gear the engine made BANG and run like a sack of nuts... I`ve bought it unopend for 280,- As i opend it and pulled out the Crank 1 piston was still in a Cylinder ^^" Don`t know how or why but the 1. zylinder Rod has given up his Job...the Piston was cracked and Rod was a 2 piece thing...well..piston was not in 2 as well...relly bad stuff in the Sump. Zylinder not repairable i guess...for sure it must be rebored over 87mm...i doubt 88mm would be enough :-( Crank also destroyed...must be grinded a lot and i`m sure that makes it not better for more torque..
  16. Distanz is same as OEM It really looks so that china has let all flanges on oem place and made as good as possible a tubular one
  17. seems to be exactly the same position as the oem manifold...
  18. yes i know about the cheap china stuff but...it was used about 10000km so i hope the critical time which was prone to crack is over and the material is now ready for a real manifold life. btw. i will weld some reinforcement struts from flange to flange...to minimize the load on die piping... more interessting is...how good these manifolds are in case of flow? O.o
  19. XD engine isn`t build...most parts are still in boxes so...it`s not possible to show you the engine with the manifold fitted. heres a ebay link that shows the manifold... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-Skyline-R33-RB25DET-Turbo-Exhaust-Manifold-T3-MF6205-/190481976244?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c599c4bb4 i`ve bought mine second hand and i`m not sure if it`s exactly the same but as far as i know it should be the it.. Still have a stock manifold but when i can push few horses more with a better flow manifold i will do that ^^" If it`s not possible to fit with China manifold i`ll take the Nissan one :-) Important for me is that it looks stealthy! the Turbo should be as small as possible and big as needed to reach over 300rwkw/550Nm at maximum 20psi. i`ve heard and read that the stock valvetrain is suffering when boosting over 20psi...is that so?
  20. thanks for you super fast reply :-D i`ll use BP 98 octan / RON Ou what i`ve forget to mention...i would like to have at least 550Nm at the wheels ^^" Here`s my spec... RB25det with aftermarket equal length low mount manifold (T3 flange) - Head: channels smoothed but not really widened and standart valves and lifters, maybe tomei pon cams - Block: Wiseco 87mm Pistons, RB26dett shot peened rods...with 1.1mm MLS HG (compression ratio was i think about 8.5:1) - ARP bolts for Head and Rods - N1 Waterpump and N1 oilpump maybe with Reimax internals...will see ^^" - don`t know about the Bearings..if Nismo or ACL... - Exhaust: 3 inch downpipe, 200cpsi Metall Cat, HKS Super Drager WHATS EXACTLY THE ISSUE WITH THE KINUGAWA I-GATES? Are these too small?? Possible to widen them?
  21. Hey Guys from the other side of the Globe :-D i`m not as new as it seems but it`s my first post / thread and post here and i hope you`ll not beat me for that question... Well, i own a ECR33 since 2010 and i`m on the way to build my second engine for over 500hp. I`m hunting for 500-550 engine hp so i guess thats about 305-315rwkw... prerequisite for my build is.. - IT MUST BE BOTTOM (LOW) MOUNTED prefered IWG and Journal Bearing in case of wear ^^ I`ve found like a lot people here the maker KINUGAWA and it seems they have good stuff especially these are build on MHI chargers or Garrett... So i thought the right Turbo could be a TD06H 25G because it`s +- the same size (wheels) as GT3076R... But will the TD06 fit in with aftermarket or OEM low mount manifold?? PLEASE ADVISE ME THE RIGHT TUBBY!^^
