I am in ACT here are some pics, forgive the quality my camera is rubbish... to answer a few questions, i have fitted the rb20 90 bend inlet to the turbo to allow the intercooler pipes to fit up in the same posistion, fitting the bend ment i had to change the wastegate to accomodate the actuator movement was not obstructed and the easiest way was to fit the standard rb20 wastegate. It does bolt up to all the same fittings and bolt sizes including dump pipe and will be a straight change over... and for those of you who think it is a standard rb20 turbo, notice the size difference between the rear housing and a standard one thanks again

I have one VG30 turbo, in excellent condition, has done less than 20000kms on standard boost... the 90 degree bend coming from the turbo inlet is painted silver with a standard rb20 wastegate to go around the inlet! im pretty sure its the IAC valve im after it the gold solinoid on the top left of the plenium in the below picture! if anyone has one lying around or even on a plenium i would be interested in buying it!when i say plenium either the whole inlet or even just the top half... please PM or call me on 0407355454

thanks guys for the input... yeah they speed limiter is definately hooked up, its a manual so no need to worry there... so are there any steel wheel turbo's out there that my ecu with running efficently?vg30?

i have been told with my mods i should be able to get about 160 at the wheels with 14psi! i have seen it a couple of times but its hard to compare...

i have heard about cutting the wire, and the 14psi but was just asking opinions...yeh its a turbo back but its in a vl calais so its pushing 1600kgs... but anyway thanks....

just wondering if anyones knows the answers to a few of my questions... all questions are related to a rb20 computer... do they have speed limiters?if so what are they? when cutting the speed sender wires at the back of the ecu... does it effect anything else? i know it has rpm limiter, but what is it? what is the boost cut set at? what is the max. boost you can run (SAFELY) with stock internals,fmic and exhaust? does anyone know the most power you can get with these mods? cheers
