  1. I have the same megan racing off ebay a couple years ago. Sounds great but you do get abit metalic noise/raspy when the car is cold. Once the car is warmed up working at its normal temp it's perfect. Also check out invidia or advices from any exhaust shop, you want something that you can live with.
  2. Thats the GTM stage 2 I think, I was thinking of purchase their stage 2 sc kit when the dollar was like 1.05 to 1. Now i gave up the idea since the dollar has dropped so much.
  3. The best dyno proven intake is Stillen Gen3 Longtube intake, requires some modification but 15whp gain proven with a tune. Dont bother cutting holes on your stock, might as well sell it as it is to fund your new ones
  4. I dont think the dyno number is realistic since there are 16 runs in between. But reducing weight and rotational mass will always free up more hp. $1700 installed, could have been alot cheaper if the usd currency was higher. They dont make cf in shop, its an import from driftshaft shop in the USA

  6. Hey guys, I will be getting a custom made carbon drive shaft from diff technics Kogarah in 3 weeks. I know the Z comes with 1 piece c/f standard and our stock is a 2 piece. It will handle 1000hp so if I decide to go FI in future it wont be a waste. I was planning to get stillen gen3 long intake but saved the money and got this instead. Any thoughts? Thanks
  7. What dyno machine did you use? I got 180rkw with stillen hfc uprev base tune on dynodynamics. I ran the diagnosis with obde2, no error codes, Afr is around 12.2 under wot. I got 5AT 08 SP. Going to get Takeda Rc2 Cai and go for a proper tune when i have time, prolly have to inject more fuel after cai to get the afr under 12 with wot

Lets say you have an accident and due to the car is different to original, will the insurance cover? I was thinking to wrap my car in ultimate black opal (GTR Spec V) Thanks
  9. I have got the kit sitting on my desk for over a 1yr now, havent got a chance to install it due to work. I am scared opening headlights, might damage the autofocus system or if you dont seal it properly and get condensation in the lenses.

  12. What are you trying to do? If you are changing the brakes then put the jack about 10cm in under the front door. I would recommend using jack stands once the car is off the ground for safety measure, only like $50 in supercheap auto. I got a hoist at my cousin's warehouse so i dont get these headaches

Yer, the owner said the power delivery is very linear and afr is pretty much bang on. on closed road i was dead even with a 08 stock 370z manual and a 3.6 996 tiptronic from standing still to 100 similar comparing to a 04 e46 m3 convertible smg as well. i am just shocked how low the output comparing to the figures in the us. people with the similar mods gets around 290whp and 270whp on mustang dyno which reads lower figures.

But, kit cost 10k usd + exchange rate + 10% import duty tax + shipping 1.1k Level 10 transmission and torque converter 4k usd + etc carbonetics lsd 1.5k so on. I wish I had the ability and unlimited fund like you scotty I will be stuck with my gt cruiser for a while until I get a r35 when sh*ts get real

  20. United 100 octane is garbage. its not really 100octane since it uses 10% e10 to boost the octane rating. been using it until i got my car uprev tuned and now running shell 98, much better
  21. Hi, I am looking for 2 x exhaust gasket to fit between the catalyst converter and centre exhaust. There might be a tiny leak as the stillen high flow cat did not come with gaskets. Looked on ebay, would cost me $60 for a pair . . . thanks
  22. My uprev flash has been completed. Very happy with the result. My car was running abit lean with abit of extra juice it made a big difference in torque at lower rev band so the car takes off much quicker. The engine is much happier to rev and tuner also switched the cooling fan system on at 95c instead of 100c. My mods are stillen high flow cat, megan racing cat back, k&n filter.   23. +1 For Nulon Synthetic ATF. Just had my 40000km service on friday, Oil change + filter($250), A/T trans oil replaced with Nulon($150) and rear diff oil replaced($100). Big difference in change gears with either auto or manually shifting with paddle shifters. gear change is much smoother and faster.
