Hey guys and girls, up for sale is my R33. It is: Black, Manual, Series 1 with Series 2 rear end swap, Has a sunroof, and Has 189xxx km on it. It has: FMIC HKS SSQV HKS Pod 3" Exhaust MBC Splitfire coilpacks Big fuel pump Coilovers Slotted front rotors High temp pads Deep dish steering wheel Nismo Knob Black leather interior (not my style, but the previous owner was a chick hence the stitching and pink number plates. It's really not that bad though) JVC head unit Boot mounted battery (In a box, not in the standard spot ) Carbon duck tail wing The bad: Body is not in pristine condition, pics should illustrate this. Interior door trims need some edge repair, again pics will illustrate this. LSD is like all standard LSD's and only locks up sometimes- Have got a new 1.01mm shim to add to diff and get it tighter again without fully locking it. HICAS is also, like most, pretty dead. Needs a lock bar but don't have the $$ at the moment. The good: The car has been otherwise well maintained mechanically. It has new radiator, coilovers new, coilpacks are new etc... Rego is until Jun/ Jul. The car makes just over 213kw at the rears before the splitfires went in. After speaking to people in the know I have been told it should have had some kind of ECU upgrade to get to that power figure but I can't support this as the ECU looks stock but who knows if it has a nistune or something inside. I have a dyno sheet for this to. Reason for sale: It's pretty simple, I don't want to sell it :lol:. However I have just made the move back to Syd with work and its on the other side of the city from my house so I am using common sense here and getting rid of it as I already have another car and could use the cash to get a bike or replace my other car, sell it and get a bike. Price: $6800ono or Swaps. If it is a swap I would be looking for: Bikes (Supermotard/ road/ trail) Four wheel drives (Patrol/ Landcruiser/ Navara etc) Utes (Falcodore/ Hilux/ Rodeo etc) Something that can tow atleast... It would be preferred to be on LPG or Diesel but isn't completely necessary. If you have other offers then send them anyway, worse I can do is say no thankyou. Hey mate, search for the R33 Headlight Yellowing threads. There's one that details the removal of the glass to remove yellowing on the inside- just follow the first steps till it's apart then mask and spray? I can't see it being any more difficult than that

Got a quote for the R33, 23, several fines no suspensions and in Epping- $720 for CTP. Then rang again got another quote for 27, no fines or suspensions and living in Epping- $720. What the **** is wrong with NSW. Just out of curiosity I did another quote for Gosford, and the price dropped to $489. f**king joke. It cost me $360 for Rego WITH CTP in Vic last year.

Thanks Josh. I do too but I am kind over it... will end up being almost stock again although with the possibility of a 2.5L conversion and then used to tow the R33 around Luke, Yes you are correct... for that you can have'em if you like haha they will be gone when rego is done.

Hi guys and girls! Just thought I should chuck one of these up, as I hope to be an active member... when I can be haha. My real name is Bj, I'm 23, just moved back to Sydney from Townsville, and am now the proud owner of an R33 GTS-T I have had a fair few cars so I am a bit of a 'Jack of all trades, master of none' when it comes to cars. Most of them have been Jap cars, specifically Nissan's. I have had about 6 Silvia's and 2 Skyline's and then a heap of others like Toyota's and Subaru's. I am looking forward though to picking the brains of you Skyline enthusiasts and expanding my knowledge base on them! Hopefully I will also make it out to some track days also, depending on work. Anyway, here's the story behind my car: My daily was this Forester GT, with WRX conversion, coilovers and blah blah blah... it did stuff, blew big flames and most importantly carried around a lot of crap while still being fast Then on the drive down from Townsville, just out of Bundy there were some issues with 5th. My mate and I babied her back into Brisbane on a Friday afternoon and by the time I had it towed to a trucking company and brought back to my new place in Sydney, I had decided I have had enough. The insurance company doesn't cover mechanical fault and I didn't want to just get a second hand box. So because I can be a little irrational sometimes a friend messaged me about how the move was and I replied with I want to buy your Skyline, but only for cheap. That night cash was exchanged and I was the proud owner of the below: So story time over, this is the car. 93 GTS-T, MBC, FMIC, 3" Exhaust, coilovers, pink number plates, black leather interior with pink 'heartbeat' stitching, GTR wing and faded paint So far this is what I am doing right now: Pulling the rear hubs out to replace them as the wheel bearings are gone, Relocating the battery further back into the boot into a battery box with a kill switch, The interior is coming out and going up for sale with the sound deadening coming out, Steering wheel, wing and front bar are being replaced (for a already track hack GTR front bar and a carbon boot lip wing... cant stand the GTR wing! haha) MBC is being pulled out and EBC, better (and smaller) boost gauge and Bee*R rev limiter are going in. After I get back from overseas there will be some wheels from a mate, diff shims, hicas lock bar, extended studs, tow hooks... a few other little things all getting put in for the ADGP Drift festival being held on Australia Day. Hey guys, I have a bit of an issue with the R33 and I have no idea what it could be, and thus had two mechanics look at it and they also can't work out whats wrong. Basically, when driving the rear left wheel squeeks and feels like a grinding/ shuddering....just for a sec during its rotation. Its frequency increases with speed and sometimes the noise won't be present. More so when turning left, it disappears, and when turning right it is worse. So far I have checked: Wheel bearing for movement, Brake disc for contaminants/ fouling on covers, Ruspension arms and bushings etc, Scrubbing on coilover. I am really stumped with this one. Has anyone had or heard of a similar occurrence? Could the HICAS have something to do with it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
