  1. All good, got it straight now. Thanks for the info people!
  2. As in me, myself mod plate them? No, we have engineer come onsite, checks install, mounting bracketry and mounting hole positions, and if changing from 3 1/4 bench, and we install seat belt stalk instead of lap sash, checks the threaded point installed, then writes out blue plates. Done a few trucks and Winnebago's, but mainly 4wd's Chris.
  3. So, let me get this straight, are you saying that the 350Z struts don't bolt up to V35 knuckles and struts towers? But that the springs out of the 350Z struts and rears fit V35 and give the lower ride height when installed?
  4. Just to put it in perspectice, I am having the rear disc's on V35 sedan machined and new RDA pads put on right now, quote is for $235 (just for rears, but same for fronts) from my local mech, this includes labour.
  5. Does it use electric adjust? Can you post up pics?
  6. Thanks mate, What about 350Z front struts, shocks and springs? I have read that they will swap over to V35 coupe, but are 1" lower?...... So therefore are 1 1/2" lower on sedan? Can any one confirm this for me please? Also, would anyone know is V35 sedan and coupe front seat interchangeable? Do they share the same base frame mounting points Al
  7. Noob question, are V35 coupe front struts, shocks and springs interchangable /direct fitment for to V35 sedan?
  8. How heavy are the springs? Are these just front Coilovers?......Or is this for rear springs and shocks also? Got any pictures you can post?
  9. Not with the Recaro's you won't, Len will have a wiring diagram for position sensors and/ or airbags in seat - In the case of air bag in the seat, its usually just a diode installed to the factory airbag wiring to trick it into thinking its still there. You can get Recaro Ergomed seats with airbags in them, but are exxy as, were talking ~4k just for the seat.
  10. Are you wanting fixed back or recliner? Most of the Brides I have seen coming into the country are copies. Damn good copies too. I believe the real brides are not ADR, where as the copies are ADR, go figure? I have Recaro at my work, and have had a bit to do with then in the 3 years I've been there. The Australian Distributor for Recaro is Ideal Seat Company. Not all of the seats shown on the RECARO.jp site are ADR compliant. Go to http://www.idealseat.com.au/ to view the ADR approved range. We only sell the recliner seats at my work, not the fixed back, so don't know too much about fixed back If you call Ideal, and ask for Len, he is thier engineer, he can walk you through the mounting and any airbag wiring if needed. In the listings you will see S, M, L - this refer to the base size, based on your above description, you are wanting the L base. If you looked at say an Expert L through my work, installed with QLD compliance, you'd pay ~ $2700 for 1 seat installed. AL
  11. What sort of condition are they in, ie Km's? And do these fit sedan?
  12. OK, thanks for clearing that up for me. I assumed the VQ35 in V35 was DD, I see that's not right at all now. You have put my mind at ease.
  13. Howdy! I have recently acquired a Series 1 V35 Automatic Sedan. I have been lurking SAU reading all the tech threads about possible issues with these vehicles. Interestingly enough I have come across a lot of disturbing timing chain and oil consumption issues for the Infinity and Nissan VQ35DD motor. I am interested to know if the VQ25DD motor shares the exact same timing chain, guides & tensioner assembley as the VQ35DD engine, or if it is a slightly different variation (as posted in another thread i viewed)? Taken from this thread in reference to VQ25dd vs VQ35DD: http://www.skylinesa..._1#entry6350253 scotty nm35, on 09 May 2012 - 09:38 PM, said: If that's the case it isn't hard to check the tensioner, its in the left hand side black cover on the front of the engine. Make sure the tensioner is pushing on the guide in the right position. VQ25's run a different tensioner and guide by the looks of it... Can anyone please confirm this last comment. I am new to Nissan, is there a good EPC that I can view online? Cheers, Ali.
  14. Are the headlight still available? Will these fit my 01 V35 sedan? I'm new to this, are the sedan and coupe headlights interchangeable? Al
  15. 36 views, no replies? Not feeling the love SAU. Taken from this thread in reference to VQ25dd vs VQ35DD: http://www.skylinesa..._1#entry6350253 Can anyone please confirm this last comment.
  16. Also, is there a way to switch the navigation system into English? Or is the early G35 indash a direct fit in the V35?
