hey Brad... I'm really going to miss the zero lag monster GTO but I'm thinking that a manual Stagea will be the best of both worlds. I still have some performance parts from my old R33 so I can just slap them on plus Ill be taking some parts off the GTO before the trade so I'm hoping to have the Stagea with around 250ish rwkw which I think is achievable and still be quite streetable. I have decided not to go auto as I think ill get bored.. Are the Series 2 manuals sluggish? How do they compare to a stock R34 GTT? I'm not excpecting to much as I'm going to be modding it in the near future. I already have a plan of attack. I know there is no direct ECU replacement for the Auto's but is there one for the NEO manual?? Thanks Dave

Hey guys, I'm very close to trading my GTO in for a Stagea. There are two i am looking at, at dealers, Neo manual etc both have about 70,000km on them, what do you think they are worth as a dealers price? one is $22,000 which is basically just a stock Neo Manual stagea and the other has twin sunroofs central locking keyless and a nice quiet exhaust for $25,000. Both cars are very neat an in very good condition. both Auction grade 4 What do you guys think and is there anthing I should be looking out for inparticular?? Thanks in advance, Dave

Ok, I'm going to get prices for a trading in late this week or next week so the car should be gone by next week or the week after.. hahaha I remember a very good friend of mine worked there for years... the stories that have come form that place!! They do ring the crap out of their cars, but its all part of the road test.

100% agree with Ash and Al.. The laws have always been there and an R33 on your P's has always been illegal

Guys I am open to reasonable offers.. I really need something more of a daily driver. If It doesn't sell soon I'm going to consider trading it in, I'd much rather see it go to someone that will appreciate it as much as I have.

Check the first post buddy, I can get more photos but the car is in storage right now so they may take a little while. The engine bay pic was taken in the middle of the Front Mount install, the intercooler piping is powder coated black not as it is in the photo. I have also included an old interior pic. Cheers Dave

For your budget you could get something locally and have it inspected rather than imported.. Id much prefer to do that..

Its has been a pleasure to own and drive but I am looking for somthing which is a little more of a daily driver, I just don't drive it and it has been sitting in my garage (I have done 6,000km in 18 months!) So I am happy to consider trades / swaps with a cash adjustment either way. It is the perfect cruiser and very comfortable on long trips with the power to match! It has truely amazing torgue delivery, with virtually no lag! This car is my pride and joy, and the only reason for sale is that I never drive it and want something else to drive on a more regular basis. 1996 GTO in immaculate condition. You would not be able to fault this car. The engine has done 20,000km and been rebuilt with forged internals with reciepts by Orger Engines. Hiflow turbos Motec ECU 6speed manual and heavy duty clutch XTR custom Front Mount Intercooler Remus 3inch exhuast (very quiet) Cruise Control 7inch TV with TV Tuner, aftermarket speakers, amp etc 19inch wheels with new Hankook K104 tyres (approx 200km old) Koni Adjustable Suspension Active Aero Sard FPR, 580cc injectors Blitz ID3 Boost controller Autometer Guages replacement in stock guage location, (Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Boost) Alarm I have reciepts for all work and no expence has been spared. All works performed by reputable performance workshop. It has been serviced every 2000 - 3000 km with castrol 10w60. The car has nothing to spend and is an absolute pleasure to drive with amazing drivability and torque. Thousands of dollars spend to make this GTO what it is. most of the modifications have been performed in the last 12 months. Please don't hesitate to call me for an inspection. You would be hard pressed finding one in this condition let alone the level of modifications and attention to detail. I am interested in trades / swaps if you have one. Something along the same lines (performance Jap car) I'm looking for more of a daily driver, I just can't bring myself to drive this to work!! On a long trip you can relax in 6th gear with the cruise control on and enjoy 9l/100km fuel economy!

Why dont you go back to the place you bought them and ask offest size etc.. Its pretty hard to 'bid' on your auction if i dont know what im bidding for.. the photo you provided is not even staggered as you said your wheels were... i am a genuine and interested buyer but im not going to waste your time and mine, If I know the size and offset i know if they will fit or not..

well let me know... also can you please tell me the offset and width... if they are genuine axis they will be in the inner of the rim Do you have any pics of the wheels on the car?? What brand tyres?
