    For GTR's see Ben at Racepace, although I have a gtst, my hks turbo upgrade looks 100% stock!! I am totally happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone, especially if you have a GTR I second what GTRGeoff has to say

  3. yeah i know, something was wrong... your spot on with the 180rwkw as there was another skyline with that figure running the same times and terminal speed i.e 13.8@105mph. since that tune i have wound the boost up and am making only 231rwkw but the car is twice as quick!! so i couldnt agree with your more!
  4. Racepace is the best going around, give him a call... Check out the vic section, there are a few others listed They generally charge $150+ her hour... just ask the workship when u call them
  5. I do agree, but that is not taking into consideration that there may have been other problems on the night... even the fact that i am a crap driver... I believe the only time to compare dyno figures is on the same dyno under the same conditions... e.g taking your car in for a tune and doing a before and after dyno run to obtain a real comparisson.
  6. The HKS 2530 is a great little turbo, you will have tonnes of midrange but find it will drop of after 6,000rpm, if you want a little more got for the 2535 or a hiflow
  7. Your right, 200rwkw is EASY with your mods.... you could have plenty more power with that boost as well

Well a guy on the forums ran a 12.9 with a similar setup to you and 207rwkw on stock turbo... me on the other hand ran a 13.8 @105 with 244rwkw, there is something wrong with my car but what is it? incorrect dyno? setup? clutch? thats all im saying, and my car has been on a few different dynos with the same tune pulling very different figures. The car drove 100% and with fantastic power delivery, so dynos dont tell the whole story..
  9. What does that have to do with what i said? i was comparing different dynos... congratulations your car was on one that was realistic. Then again 1/4 times and rwkw dont have a hell of a lot to do with eachother... obviously your car is well set up, there are plenty out there that arent

    Al, im trying! Ill start coming to the track days as well, ive been getting the car setup and im nearly there! I went last year to Easternats in a mates car and it wasnt to bad, your right about there being a lot of people but i really just want to get out there and abuse my car! since my new found power it is really hard to open it up on the street... Im really just going for a laugh...

  14. what are the very basicas of getting my cams... and can i race on any of the championship events (random), im not interested in the competition just having a bit of fun... I really have to get my arse into gear and make that first step and then i think ill enter them quite often...
  15. agree with paul, ive seen 185rwkw and 13.8 with termial speed of 105 with those mods
  16. there are some pretty keen dynos around.... a lot of the figures people quote with standard turbos and minimal mods is rediculous... dont worry so much about "rwkw" but how the car drives and a good tune.... i have destroyed quite a few cars with a lot more 'dyno' power.

  18. very different turbos there.... you need to consider how u want the car to drive and what sort of power you want..
  19. a cop was hit in the head and the rear window of a cop car smashed i hear... i was there after the portsea cruise and caught up with friends... cops everywhere....

  22. yeah the mechanic did a pressure test of the front half of the pipes to the turbo and found there was a leak, it was hard to find even then knowing it was in the piping...
  23. i found the problem, it was just a cracked intercooler pipe which has been replaced and now all is well. I think the 2530 size turbos will have trouble holding boost no matter what u do, and you wont be able to do much about it....

    Not Happy

    I just had a break upgrade done by them, the service was great, they really helped me out.... I saw the GTR i think your talking about, didnt move from the time i saw it there... was it the one that needed the left passenger door sprayed? a purple colour??
