Ive used it a few time, on very hot days my knock was only 10 and at night with the cooler air i noticed an improvement with performance... Fuel consumption was better as well, im now winding more boost into her so ill be tuning it on 98 but then using 100 octane as a safety net...

Bass, Talk to your tuner about the Magna Flow mufflers, i was going to do the same thing but he told me to go jap and jap only, so i got an Apexi N1, its not to bad but still quite loud... i suggested a few 3inch twin muffler systems but i think the attraction from the EPA your getting is becasue of your race cat, i have one as well and the car is quite a bit louder because of it. I bought a silencer for it on long drives and it shuts it right up and still goes well, but not as well as without it!! just be careful you dont lose any power over the different exaust and have a chat to Ben about it before you chose a different exhuast...

I just heard it came 3rd in a hill climb and $30 grand will buy it but you may be able to get it a bit cheaper... apparently approx 560ish hp and work done by AVO... and its a 1997.. Jun crank, Cooler kit, 350hp turbos and upgraded drive line... it didnt sell for a highest bid at $26,000 I dont know how much of what i just wrote is crap but a mate of mine just rang me about it asking if i want to buy it.... he deals with pickles quite a lot... and said the owner as blown PLENTY of money on it!! Those head lights dont look like a 97 though!

Let me say that Robo's 2530 was pretty quick!!!!! we had a couple of little goes in gear and i was impressed, gear changes had nothing to do with it, he was pulling away from me in gear every gear! i may have had more topend but it would have taken a long to time to catch him if ever! I wouldnt have minded meeting up with you again before you changed your turbo though as that week just before i met up with you, i had installed a silencer valve in the exhaust (cable type at the cat) and found that it was not fully opening!!!!! as soon as i took it out the car pulled heaps harder! Having said that, Robo's car was bloody quick and the midrange was amazing! i dont doubt the 244rwkw i have or the 250rwkw Bass has from the Racepace dyno, as Ben mentioned more boost with the 2535 wont produce much more peak power just way more midrange!!

there is no need to go for a 3 1/4 exhaust unless your chasing some serious power, my car made 211rwkw with the silencer still in it!! so if your going for mild mods then just get a 2 muffler system and it will be very quiet!

it looks like you have a bit more top end than me... ill have to see you at the next meet!! my knock is never over 20ish and injectors usually 85% and jump higher rarely

Bass, Id like to compare your car to mine as i pulled 244 rwkw in my R33 HKS 2535 on 14psi (no cams), on the Racepace dyno. It would be interesting to see how they compare!
