  1. Stop start traffic is a killer. I have mentioned before that my GTR which is mildly modded with over 260rwkw, I will get around 14ish l/100km but I am currently working only 4km from home and took the GTR for a week when the daily was being worked on and because the car wouldnt even get a chance to warm up I was getting 24 L/100km hahahaha must have a rich warm up cycle! I couldnt do it to the car for a long amount of time.
  2. Couldnn't agree more, I love my GTR so much that after I spend hours detailing I find it sitting in the garage becasue I am too scared to drive it! I don't think I could sell it though, I love driving it so much... It is also comfortable enough to drive almost anywhere.
  3. I think there is a set for sale at Tyre Power in Hawthorn, if you are in Melbourne check them out, from memory they are 20x13 and 20x11 and he mentioned that they were only 2 weeks old. A decent saving to be had.
  4. about 18months ago now loving it!
  5. When?? My GTR may be available
  6. How does it drive compared to the stock turbos? I am considering -9's for my 34 What is your duty cycle for the injectors? i am guessing they are maxed out? What clutch are you running? Thanks
  7. You could always get B7 RS4 seats like I did
  8. Yeah, plenty of mods... I wont go into everything here, you obviously know about the 'stages', it has the Revo 2871r stage 3 with, bigger brakes, clutch etc etc it makes it a bit of a sleeper and an awesome daily. I have seen you have been looking for a euro car, check out Ozaudi, and do yourself a favour and buy an A4, depending on how much power you want, either a B5 S4 or a mildly modded B6 A4. They are reliable and there are plenty of independent Audi guys around who know their stuff, are reallying into performance kits and are cheap! If you want to know anything else just pm me.. Cheers
  9. '96 Al???? I think your memory is failing with age! Nah its a B6, I do love the B5 S4 and with the same mods they make a clean torquey 250 - 260 awkw awesome cruiser! I have seen a few stage 3 b5 S4's pop for sale and have been sooooo tempted but the B6 is just a nicer newer car.
  10. We took a wrong turn but ended up meeting with everyone else soon enough... Thanks again Dan, awesome night
  11. Big thanks to everyone, I had a ball! I haven't really given the Audi a good thrash since all the mods so I was wrapped at how much fun it was.. Loved the evo and 35 as well, god that was quick!
  12. It must have been the width of the le37's I wasn't fond of then.. I would have been interested in your GTC's but I am really looking for 19's, the top secret wheels caught my eye because they were something special.
  13. What size offset with these two sizes can I fit on an R34 GTR? +15 maybe? 19x10.5 $4050 Pre-order $3850 19x11 $4100 Pre-order $3900 What is a package price with the before mentioned KU36? Thanks
  14. nah, still looking, they are the wrong offset, I'm reallt looking for Gold GT-C 19 x 10.5 + 12 face 2! I know I am going to have to wait but thats ok with me. I did like those Gold Te37's though, very nice, again though, wrong offset!
  15. hahahaha I thought the same thing we I saw it on tv tonight!
  16. They are quite good and if there is something wrong with a car they have imported they fix it properly. They are a little pricely but I have bought a car off them in the past and wa more than happy with its condition and was happy to pay the premium.
  17. 100% agree, if your decision is ecu based then I can see you point. If not not just Rob both there are plenty of very decent Mechanics/tuners who would do a great job.
  18. I dont know why people get one workshop to do the mechanical works and another to do the tuning, in Sabbadin's case, Rob is a fantastic tuner and over many many years and various types / brands of cars I have modded, Rob has provided each car with a brilliant tune for not only daily driving but also track work. I can understand if you want a specific ecu in your car that Rob was not fond of or confident with, but I have had PFC, Motec, SAFC, Wolf etc and each and every tune has been prefect for my needs. My opinion is for all workshops, I think you should take your car to one workshop you trust and let them start and finish the car. I know I wouldnt be happy if I did all the hard work on a car and then my customer sent his car to someone else for a tune. Just my opinion
  19. As mentioned in PM, you can't go past Audvolks.... i take both my Audi's there B6 and B8 and have taken a couple of VW's there as well. They have done my Revo Stage 3 in my B6 which is basically: Computer Injectors 2871r turbo Manifold Front Mount Exhaust clutch Air intake Computer EBC Brakes etc etc The will take the time with you and know Audi's and VW's back to front. Not only is their service fantastic but so are their prices. They service R8's RS4's right down to old bangers, plus you get a free loan car. Jump on Ozaudi forums and ask around, I'm sure many will agree. Staff - Awesome car! I have been thinking about selling my B6 and getting an S4, i love them... The RNS-E (sat nav) is quite an easy retofit if you wanted to go down that path as well, it completes the car nicely. I would not take my car to a Dealer personally, they are just too expensive.
  20. That is not a Vspec but still, it is a gorgeous car... Good luck with the sale
  21. If you are in the SE suburbs, head down to Sabbadin Automotive and have him make you a custom system. The Jap exhaust on my GTR was loud and did drone. We tried a few different combos and now my car sounds great but has no drone at all and still flows as much as the loud Jap system. Give him a call hand ask him about the mufflers we used on Dave's Black GTR, he will know what you are talking about. Cheers Dave
  22. Head down and have a chat to Rob. You will not regret it, their work is some of the best available. He did a custom exhaust for my Audi when I installed bigger turbo, injectors etc etc and when the Audi workshop saw the exhaust they were amazed at the workmanship, so much so, that they now send their own and their customers car to Rob!
  23. Why are Wolfs so bad? I have had PFC's, Motec, Revo and find that Wolf is as good if not better than any of the others. Would not liking wolf come down to your lack of knowledge of the product or is is actually based on experience because everyone I know that has a wolf has never looked back. Having used various ecu's I can personally say coming from a consumer that I would pick wolf again, infact I would go as far as to say considering $$$$ wolf would be my first choice. Everyone needs to remember that an ecu (the ones mentioned above) is only as good as the person tuning it.
