Update tune in Forced Performance Section... 244 rwkw at 14psi

I just had my car tuned... R33 S1.5 Trust Front Mount Full Exhaust Nismo Fuel Pump HKS 2535 PFC At 14psi it pulled 244rwkw and is amazing to drive!!! My new best friend will be the local servo i think! I thought it would have terrible traction with the crap 326's but it doesnt! it actually pulls very hard with fantastic grip in a straight line. Of course its quiet easy to smoke the tyres through 2nd but the power delivery is so smooth it usually just grabs and goes!!! I would recommend this setup to anyone for street use! more power everywhere!!! Cheers!

Happened to me a while back, as long as you didnt admit to speeding you will have a case... but they did send mine in the mail two days later...

What db do these systems have without the silencer?

Robo, What about a HKS 2835.... they seem to make decent power... Once my car is complete with an exhaust i mean, I would me more than happy to compare yours and mine... At the moment it doesnt really feel like it is dropping of at all, and the dyno reflects that.. i dont know if it becuase i am only running 12psi, which may be the reason.

i just spoke to them and thats exactly what they said.. I think ill head down there and have a chat to them and show them my car... The only reason im keep on a jap system is because the tuner said that is what i should get... Ill see but for the 650-750 he quoted me for a mild steel catback system, I can get a full Stainless Trust system for about $100 more... decisions, decisions.....

Id love to do that but I was told it may no be any good in the way of making more power... I have rung around plenty of exhaust shops and all they make is 76mm... Id love to go to a performance exhaust shop and just have one made but Ben has advised me to go jap as he can basically guarentee good power out of it as 76mm isnt big enough...

It didnt make anymore power with the silencer in the exhaust and without the silencer you can hear me comming from a block away, thats why im looking for a new quiet catback exhaust... I think the turbo is worth it, when you consider how responsive they are and how smooth the power delivery is i dont think you can go wrong... and the fact that the car still looks standard is a huge bonus... As far as the motor going 'bang' ill leave that up to ben.. I dont expect anything more than the turbo and motor will safely handle... I am more than happy with the performance at 211rwkw, so anything above that will be a bonus!!! For normal day to day driving the only other turbo i considered was a VG30 hybrid... I ended up going for the HKS because of the reliability of the results....

Looks like a nice car, but as mentioned above, it has been for sale for AGES!!!!

Yes it will fit, I just had mine done with the HKS2535 and the enguine bay looks 100% standard! You cant even see Garrett or HKS on the Turbo...

Ok, I just took the car for a quick spin and at a rolling start in second, it starts to build boost by about 2,000rpm and has full boost (12psi) at approx 3200rpm, it was pretty hard to see as the revs just rocket up! Where can i find the exhausts West?

I guess that would have been mine! I forgot to mention, Nismo Fuel Pump as well but still running the stock injectors and AFM... I was more than happy to upgrade the Injectors but Ben told me not to bother... They only start maxing out at redline, which my car never really sees... I have been getting used to the way the car drives so to be honest I havent noticed when it hits 12psi and it wasnt on the dyno readout so ill have to take her for another spin an let you know.. Standard manifold, just looks like a 100% factory engine bay... After a goo thrashing over the weekend, i can tell you it loves to drink if you push it and the power delivery is so smooth that sometimes it really doesnt feel like it is going hard till you realise who fast you are going... I have been searching high and low for a good cat back system but have found it is very limited... anyone got any suggestions? I have tried hypertech but thats it so far... and i wasnt that keen on spending another $1200 on a catback.. I have a Blitz Spec R at the moment whcih will be for sale if anyone is interested.... Let me also say that unless your car is standard, the Falken 326's are useless!!
