  1. Sorry but I dont see the connection between 'Wogs' and 'Sales'......
  2. ok then, well if you change your mind just let me know...
  3. if the hand controller is the same as the R33 GTST PFC then ill buy that off you if your interested....
  4. u can buy them locally but people are asking about $550, which is an insult in my opinion. Also Greenline have them for about $340 but i would rather get one second hand (even new) and be able to test it..
  5. Im looking for a Power FC Hand Controller for an R33 GTST model unit. Thanks

    Eggs

i had the same thing happen last year... some prick had thrown an egg at my car, not long after i had it sprayed and the egg scratched and chiped the paint! pricks
  7. After all the hype about Racepace i have decided to check them out. Normally i take my car to ICE (and have been happy with their work as well) but I have taken the plunge and booked my car in at Racepace for a HKS 2535 install, i went there yesterday and it is the cleanest workshop i think i have ever seen!! Very happy how he checked out my turbo for me and ordered parts on the spot to get the ball rolling... Ill keep you all posted on the result!!
  8. exedy heavy duty clutch.... im told good for about 230-250rwkw and has a standard feel to it.. not one complaint and i have punished it a bit for about 8 months now...
  9. yes the fine one is for creep...
  10. there are basically 2 knobs... the first controlls boost and the second controls creep... mine is under the bonnet but you can mount them in cabin if you like.. It takes a while to tune but once it is it controls boost perfectly. i have never had boost spike since..
  11. check out the article on autospeed.com.au and do a search on 'audi boost', i think it is a norgen setup boost controller.... i have one on my car and it NEVER spikes and has a wastegate creep.. costs $100ish and works perfectlly!
  12. that thread shows over 255rwkw at 1 bar... does this mean the extra power (like the 2530) will only produce more midrange rather than more peak power... I think i would rather the midrange as these days unless you are on a track 90% of the driving will be using the midrange....
  13. so are people generally saying that winding the boost up on a 2535 will basically have the same gains as the 2530, i.e: more midrange but not much more top end... then again if people are already struggling to get traction with massive amounts of midrange is it pointless having anymore power... (without having to spend $$$$$ on suspension and $600 tyres that is) so what is the most someone has got out of a 2535 on about 18psi, im guessing about 260-265ish rwkw?
  14. SeriesIIGTST, i have 185rwkw at the moment and am pretty happy with it as it pulls hard, how does they car drive compared to what u have now... in terms of straight line on boost and normal driving in the lower rev range... I am thinking that while i am at it i may as well get the injectors and only have 1 tune but im thinking that if i am happy with 185rwkw then i may not need anymore than 220-230rwkw? thanks
  15. ok then, so a Z32 AFM is a must but how much power will these turbos make on approx 18psi? Is the $1300ish of injectors worth the power gain and is the power even usable on the street?
  16. I have an R33 GTST (S2 Motor) with the following mods. full exhaust PFC Front mount Boost controller i am about to install a HKS 2535 with a bigger fuel pump but cannot decide if i should go for the Z32 AFM and injectors because people seem to be getting 250rwkw without the AFM and Injectors on about 1 bar.. Is it worth getting the AFM and injectors for the sake of the extra 3 or so psi and how much more power will it produce? i am having trouble finding RB25's running about 18-19psi with a 2535 and seeing how much power they produce..... I know it is always worth going for the injectors for safety reasons but i was just curious on the power outputs... Cheers..
  17. If you are on a tight budget then do it all at once with one setup and tune charge.. I am in the same boat, i have a HKS 2535 in my room ready to go on but im not going to do it with out the fuel pump injectors and AFM....

    petrol plan?

    me 2!!!
  19. Ice Performance all the way... Great service and a Great price to go with it....
  20. Thanks guys, I just bought a HKS2535 as well second hand and was just considering a worst case scenario of rebuilding it, i rang ATP and was told that if it needed a full rebuild then it would be the cost of a new turbo which doesnt seem right to me... Ill appreciate if you could let me know what the prices are... I have the turbo but i think ill have to take it to the tuner and see what they think... fingers crossed all is fine and she makes some good numbers!
  21. I know this is an open question but i was just wondering how much a HKS turbo may cost to rebuild and if they do need work then what usually goes wrong with them?
  22. Mate of mine put an new turck turbo on a GSR, didnt boost in 1st, started to boost by about 7,000rpm in second and mate about 185awkw, which lasted for about 2 weeks before it blew. He now has a turbo suited to the motor and goes about 10 times better... i personally wouldnt go near a truck turbo...
