I was told the same thing, PRESA, that the only way to really make good power out of them is to have a VG30 rear housing... I bought a second hand HKS 2535 so we will see how it goes when it arrives!

They work fine, there is a huge diference between the standard shift and the short shift. I have never used an Original C's but your right for the price they are pretty hard to beat. They reduce the shift by about 25% and shorten the gear selector as well.

This is where i get confused as the tuners that have used them say not to get one but people with them on the forums are pulling good numbers with them... i personally like the idea of an EPA friendly turbo

I have seen all the reviews on the forum about the hiflows being great and people getting 250rwkw + but every tuner i have spoken to has told me to stay clear of them if i wanted any more than about 220rwkw... i guess it depends on who you listen to at the end of the day. I was really keen to go for a standard hiflow but have decided to go HKS from what i have been told. i would agree with LANFOH that around 220rwkw would be around the mark.

from memory if the light flashes 3 times it is the knock warning, but if the light has come on for a couple of seconds solid it is the AFM maxing out.... Hope that helps

ive been running 12psi for about a year having done plenty of dyno runs, and the mechanics reckon the turbo is very strong.. i agree, its really just luck but i wouldnt want to run much more than 12-13psi on the stock turbo

with my S1.5 i made 182rwkw with 10psi, full exhaust and trust front mount.. it actually made more power on 10psi than it did on 12psi and the power curve was smoother...

ive got one, they have a few extra goodies over the S1 and for not much more... Air Bag mine has a S2 motor Spoiler etc

Got mine done, 20% rears and 35% fronts.. looks good and the quality seems great!

I was there with a few mates who entered their cars, a pretty wild GSR and a few RX7's which were VERY quick and a Silver R33 GTST which i was in on the track that has just left me wanting more!!! power everywhere!!

Dont stress to much, the exact same thing happened to me, i took it back free of charge until he got it right.... I to went to a well know tuner... but the customer service has been quite good, now my rwkw has one down a little but on a 33 degree day it was knocking around mid 20's and the light hasnt come on since, even in the heat loading it up in 5th...

ICE Performance have been very helpful with me in the past. Nigel will take the time to explain any questions you may have.. Im taking my car there next week for further works.. There is a large range of good tuners out there, but my experiences with ICE have kept me comming back without bothering checking other places out. I have only experienced good quality work with the comfort that if something did go wrong they go out of their way to help out..

i cant get the number of a guy i think he is call 'Dr Tint', he is mobile and a mate of mine just had two of his cars done. Excellent job and he said he uses 'tint a car' film. He quoted my R33 to remove the existing crap on the rear and two rear side windows and put on 20% on all windows: $190 Cheapest quote i have had by far...
