  1. hey dipshit, Explain to me why you are wasting our time? Take your mongrel car home and bother someone who cares about your opinion..
  2. i paid $250 each for the 265's and i have noticed them gradually getting better but still not much chop.......
  3. Dunno about the 235's but know that i paid $250 for the 265's.... I was very close to buying the semi slicks but thought that by the time they warmed up and really started to grip my trip would be over... i was quoted $270 for the semi slicks (Falkens)... ive been told the Hancooks are pretty good... so good luck.... im starting to think i should have just bought a new pair of 225/50/16's, as was always really suprised at the amout of grip they had.... For stock tyres anyway....
  4. Thanks, I was afraid of that... i was just supprised that my crap stockies had a noticable amount more traction even after i totally fried them on the figure 8 at the DECA day a couple of weeks ago!!! P.s i think i saw your car at the Auto Elec a couple of months ago.... Very Nice! I had work done there on my car previously... Cheers
  5. Dunno if it is the Thrust Bearing, as my mechanic told me that mine is stuffed and makes the hissing noise, but only when my foot is off the clutch. when my foot in on the clutch the noise is gone.. i bought my car with the noise with compliance...
  6. Hey All... I just bought new rims and tyres... 235/40/18 Front 265/35/18 Rear Falken 326 i think?? I have noticed I have considerably less traction than when i had my stockies on, 225/50/16. Do the new tyres have a certain amount of distance to be travelled before they start to grip or have i just bought crap tyres?? I was shocked at how easy it as to smoke the new tyres.. with the stock tyres i could just chirp second gear, but now when i slam into second gear i can smoke the rears quite a lot... P.s i have 183 rwkw..... i appreciate the advise...
  7. I couldnt agree more....
  8. Hey, I have just about rung every dealer in Melbourne including eclipse and have had no luck in finding a cable (13 pin i think?) to connect up a dvd player (oe anything with RCA input) to my Eclipse TV/GPS/TV screen..... Anyone out there had any luck???? i know u can change the tuner from jap tv but can the GPS be converted to AUS, it still thinks i am in Tokyo!!! It is a great system and dont really want to change it, just make it work properly! Thanks
  9. I wouldnt worry about it 2 much, it depends what u have done 2 your car i guess...... if it is pretty standard id go for it... i have driven mine for bout a year every day regardless of time / distance and my skyline has be great..

    Help~~~~!!!

Try 'M.I Automotive', they did a fantasic job on my car! i basically got an extra 56rwkw from new plugs, front pipe, hi flow cat and a Dyno tune running less boost!! It went from 127rwkw to 183rwkw, and made a HUGE difference! If you want details, let me know.....
