  1. did I hear Brembo???? I have been quiety looking for a nice brake upgrade, with the power mine is putting out I am finding the stock brakes are just crap! Back on topic.... It depends on what you want the car for? If you want it sporty then go for the manual. I am kind of the other way around, I bought the manual because I have always had them and now am thinking I would rather an auto as I only drive the car to and from work and just can be bothered with a manual anymore. Decide where your heart is with manual and auto and then go from there, if you have to rebuld the auto at $5000 then it wont be any more to go manual I'm guessing. As as I want an auto though, I love having a sporty drive in my manual!
  2. I have that switch on mine, it turns of the factory alarm / horn. Your switch is in the off position now, so if you turn it back on and lock the door with your factory keyless entry and then try to open the car with out the remote the alarm will sound. Its quite anoying as I switch it back on all the time with my leg and the horn goes off when I unlock the car with my aftermarket alarm!
  3. To confirm guys this switch has been GREAT on cold mornings... it heats the mirrors and windscreen wipers! I love these little gimicks

    Stagea Help

Dunno... I am pretty attached to what I have as I modified it all from standard but I would be looking to buy an M35 maybe or even a GTR (always wanted one). If it came to it I would part the car and sell it stock but that is only if I cannot move it for a while.. PM me if you would like to know all the mods It would be a big decision to sell the Stagea though, they are so conveient, go hard and the cops dont even look twice at you! Dave Also: I have dealt with SSV who have quality cars.

    Stagea Help

I also have an RS4S manual Stagea and love it! I would be tempted to sell it though if you were interested as I am starting to want an auto to drive to work in. Mine has HKS turbo, PFC etc etc Cheers
  6. What condition are the rotors in? do calipers the come with pads?
  7. I also have a Walbro as in a S2 a bosch will not fit in the standard housing. I am also using a nismo FPR and it is quiet and never given me a drama
  8. Hey Aaron, How is it going? It's Dave, I bought the R34 GTR wheels off you a while ago for my white manual Stagea! I had no Idea about the Rampant closing down sale! I would have been keen to check out what you had... Good to hear you have a Stagea now, hope to see you at the next cruirse. Cheers Dave
  9. Sounds Good!
  10. My RS4S does, it sure does hang out sideways if i am not careful!!
  11. Would you consider selling the brembos? Please PM me if you are interested
  12. My standard clutch held on with 265rwkw in my RS4S but you could not launch it at all. I replaced it with a cushion button GTR clutch and although it bites a little bit I can dial up the revs and dump the clutch and the stagea just squats and checks out! if you were only going 2000rwkw and only street driving without launches then i would replace it with a stock or mild ceramic clutch. They are quite expensive though being a GTR base clutch and not GTST. Check out www.exedy.com.au website or www.xtremeclutch.com.au
  13. We need more stags to come to events! I thought I was the only one turning up! Althought the exhaust may not pass, your car is pretty damn loud and even something at 92db will not attract anywhere near the same crowd as the one you have now.
  14. Any Reg? Does it need anything for a RWC? What suburb in Melbourne are you in? Thanks
  15. Hey buddy can you let me know how you go with removing the centre muffler? Any more performance and is it still reasonably quite? I am going through the same thing with mine, it makes decent power at the moment but i was considering removing the centre muffler for a bit more noise because the exhaust now is so quiet that i cant without flooring her!
  16. The stock clutch will hang on as long as you dont launch the car and abuse it. My held with 265 rwkw and I only replaced it because I knew I would have to soon enough anyway. I had a cushion button installed and it was approx 1200 plus install which is usually 400, a heavy duty was approx 1000 plus install. I am VERY happy with the clutch I bough I can dial the revs right up and dump the clutch and she hangs on very well!!! The price is quite good, I paid over 20 on the road 12 months ago but I didnt mind paying a bit more because it is immaculate and has been a perfect car ever since.
  17. Does anyone have the part # for the fron and rear Bilstein Suspension with the lowering clip specifically for the RS4S? Considering the rears are a fork type what would the part number be? I am going with the advice to leave the stock springs and use height adjustable suspension. Cheers
  18. what suburb in mebourne are you from?
  19. Thanks Ryan for your efforts it was a great cruise and good to meet a few more guys from SAU!
  20. see you all tomorrow
  21. Same here.. need an address as well as the pic didnt work
  22. pm sent, I'm looking forward to this it will be good to see all the Stageas in action on a cruise..
  23. Thats for that, I didnt realise you could leave your stock springs in! How low can you go with just installing shocks? if you dont need to install springs as well then what is the benefit of doing so?
  24. Thanks guys, he wanted to send the Super Wagons to Fulcrum who are the supplier in QLD, where they would chop up my stock suspension and install the for in the super wagon. He was not going to charge me for this and was still going to supply me with a 2 year warranty but I ended up taking the car away and Im going to go to Tru Track where they advised they have done a few in the past and really seem to know their stuff!! They did however quote $600 just to supply eibach spring which i think is a little steep! Does anyone know which other springs will fit that are a reasonable price? Thanks again Dave
