  1. Pure mineral oil, perfect for racing! Give it a crack, I recommend it.
  2. For a Nissan, only the best
  3. It might work for you and you found it through your own conclusions but I dont think its sound avice to be giving people. There is enough shit on the internet as is, do we really need people thinking and telling others that magnatec is the best oil for race RB motors?
  4. And this is based on what, because you have never lost an engine and it appears to run cooler? Its like saying lets all smoke ice because my mate did it for years and he is sweet.
  5. I would be giving Comptune Engineering (Sydney Compliance center) in Sydney a call, they are one of 4 shops who comply these things and last time I was there they were happy to chat and they had about 100 of the things parked up waiting to be done. A phone call costs nothing but a dud car does, 1/4 chance they did the car too.
  6. I would run it; I've seen and let go a lot worse than that at work and never heard anything back, last one I remember was a borgwarner SX200 that had some sweet compressor wheel impact damage and its still running around loading trucks lol
  7. 16L/100km with some city driving thrown in sounds alright to me? Fuel is still cheap and unless your doing massive km's a week........ what are we talking, an extra $15 a week?
  8. "Hey I'm looking for a R32 with 60,000km, can you find one for me" "Woah its your lucky day, I have one in stock right now........ its off getting 'detailed' so you cant see it today but tomorrow, sure think!"
  9. The quality of the buisness is wholely dependant on the owner and the staff employed... you get neither for $450k and once people know its not the same JEM your f**ked. Its a decent slog for a new owner of a performance shop the equal or exceed the previous owners reputation. So unless your already in the buisness and can afford to buy out a competitor and scale up, its a f**king expensive name and toolbox
  10. $420k.......... sounds pretty pricey for a name and some tools?
  11. I wouldnt fix it, would lop the f**ker off and put a new muffler on and take a closer look at the rubbers further down.
  12. Welding mufflers and manifolds when they crack is always a tempoary fix, if its cracked once it will do it again unless you work out why. Without seeing a picture we cant tell you if its worth the effort.
  13. Use the two threaded holes to pull it off?
  14. Its a fixed displacement gear pump, your not going to get higher oil pressure unless you make it bigger (as in, flow more at a given RPM) with the clearances you have. Pumps create flow not pressure, if everybody else has good oil pressure with a OEM sized pump then your issue is excess clearance or something else not right in the system.
  15. JLM are like every other dealer, lying dream boats who are full of shit who's owner doesnt pay his bills. Still ows people I know either money for goods or for things listed on the bill of sale that were never delivered..... nevermind rolling new shells into. RB26's....... That being said, he is honest about the stuff he sells and it is genuine but aftersale support leaves a lot to be desired.
