When importing a car, the import cost's can be anywhere between $3000-$9000. The government always get their cut in tax and you have import fee's (Container, shipment, delivery, etc.)

Only thing I can think off is that she may send you an EPA letter in the mail (not sure what that is called in QLD) road worthy? They take pictures for evidence then send you a letter in the mail. Doubt they could possibly do anything else !

I will let you guys know as soon as i decide to part it. Just seeing what my chances are of finding a shell because i really miss her !

Hi everyone I am selling/wrecking my "97 GTR after 12 months sitting in the garage. It has extensive damage to the rear, mostly on the passenger side. It was imported 3 years ago with 70xxx on the dash. Now it has 89,000. The car was lent to a friend while i was overseas and it ended up like this when i got back. Engine, drive train and interior are all still immaculate. Still drives as if there is no damage. inspections welcome. 16,500 ono (Please no ridiculous offers). Car was inspected and quoted for a cut and shut at $3000 if you can supply a rear end. IF THERE ARE NO TAKERS THE CAR WILL BE STRIPPED DOWN AND SOLD PIECE MY PIECE.
