Ok price is confirmed. $170 each. Waiting on available dates, may have a date today. When I do, a new thread will be created, and it is booking time. You are only booked when you pay the money, verbal means nothing.

go uniden. the cheap ones suck. use good batteries and they will usually last well. cheap batteries go dead in no time.
-
I will run as many as I can fill.
-
yep

whoever told you that nankangs might grip the road too well for drift is an imbecile, beware anything they say in the future. You can drift with any tyre. A crap tyre will be easier to drift with than a good one at novice level.
-
I hope you guys have donated to prank.
-
sounds good. where is the restaurant?
-
ALRIGHT, the day is definately a go ahead, I just dont have a price. 1 step closer at least. One more step to go.
-
I don't actually know what deal Famous do, there is a thread in the general forum (sticky). Give them a ring and find out, or ask the NSW guys.
-
dr30man - we are already sponsored by an insurance company, Famous Car Insurance.
-
that car would look very bland/boring without those stickers. love em. are there any race cars painted the same colour as yours james?....
-
Not having to worry about wheelspin!? You try moving forward with an open diff on the pan! You've beaten me on the skidpan in the past Marc. You bake biscuits. An Air biscuit is a fart. I actually got that out of Cleo or something. Also obtained another good definition from there. Wanking Spanners, noun; hands. 2 of my favourites from a chicks mag, they are turning dirty.

I thought that would get a reply out of you!
-
8 or so R33's at the last time trials @ mt cotton in my NA R31.
-
snake, youre meant to keep the same or similar rolling diameter, which means that if you have an 18" wheel, the sidewall of the tyre is shorter, giving the same or similar height as that of the 17" wheel/tyre package. nemz - sounds good mate.
-
I think thats great, something a little bit different, little bit original, but classic at the same time (31 and 32 Touring car colour scheme).
-
Erin - as Marc said, as if you would be shunned, be realistic, you know thats not the case. Dynamix, if your mate owns a Festiva, just bring him in your car. " Are you gonna tell your best mate who doesn't own a skyline he's not allowed to hang with you because of what car he has?" Noone said you aren't allowed to have friends, if all you did in your life was go on SAU cruises, then it may pose a problem for the relationship between you and a mate, but I'm sure that SAU cruises would take up a very small percentage of time in your life, meaning that you wouldnt have to tell your mate he "can't hang with you". Don't overreact guys, its a discussion, not an argument, and not the end of the world. Nismo Boy - Im going to kiss you the next time I see you. Youve been warned.

Platinum.... It would only sound like we "think we are better than anyone else because we own skylines" if you are completely paraniod/defensive/etc. It is a Skyline Club, it is not a difficult concept to grasp. You also say that "not everyone has the budget to buy a skyline" This contradicts your other comment, as everyone has the budget to buy a commodore. Skylines are cheap anyway. You might have made some sense if you were talking about ferraris. Nismo boy - you know ill tell you to f*ck off even if you are in a Skyline Please guys, keep it mature, and making sense.
-
squizz and gary are exceptions. there may be others. They both used to have Skylines and squizz still drives an import nissan rwd sedan with an RB20DET. Gary is tipping big $ into the club, is waiting to buy another skyline, and still drives a modified euro 6cyl rwd car. Hypothetical here. If I owned an Excel, and had an interest in Skylines, I would get on this forum. I would NEVER try to attend an SAU cruise in an Excel! It's just not the done thing. I would get a lift in a Skyline if I really wanted to come. I would feel really out of place, and downright silly running around in a little fwd 4cyl with a pack of skylines. If I owned a 180sx and was on the forums for A WHILE, and then wanted to go on a couple of mountain runs or something, I would respectfully ask permission first. Reality - I would NEVER rock up to a Falcon Club cruise in my car. What a ridiculous thing to do. Hey a falcon club cruise, I'll take my Skyline..... Wouldn't I look like a complete idiot. If I organised a cruise and a commodore and some 4cyl fwd rocked up, i would kindly ask them what they were thinking, and if they would like to be passengers, or not continue on with us. Commodores have tried to hook up with us before on a Gold Coast run, they got the message over the CB... The fact that a little hatch can keep up is totally irrelevant. It could be a gemini with $50K spent on it that can pants every Skyline on a cruise through the mountains and on the straights, it doesnt matter. Its not a Skyline, its a Gemini, why is it there. Try Performanceforums, boostcruising, etc if you have a miscellaneous car and want to cruise. This is a Skyline club, don't forget that. Marc is right, the very fact that we are discussing it shows how open and laid back this group is.
-
is the 350z your dads? if you are keeping the same rolling diameter, there will be more than 5mm difference in sidewall height. just look at the tyre prices. 17x8 > 18x7.5 for grip.
-
sell it and buy a good gt-t.
-
a few miscellaneous nissans is alright. you don't get too many others at a meet anyway. squizz is not affected by this as he has been around for a while, used to have an R32 etc. charades etc, no. This is not performanceforums, or boostcruising, this is SKYLINESaustralia.
