  1. Hey if i got caught doing 100+ in a 60 zone it would serve me right too!!! I recently got done for 80 in a 60 zone downhill in a work car, because i was in a bad mood and not concentrating. It was bloody stupid and serves me right for not concentrating. What sort of area was it in?
  2. Birty is exactly right. We are still waiting on supplies from sponsors, answers from them etc. Waiting on other people is no fun
  3. Well serves you right for doing 103 in a 60 zone. You have no licence for 6 months.
  4. If you get an auto and an EBC, just give her a low boost setting, and high boost for you. sweet. ps. saiyaman - if you cant control the rear of an auto s13 you should get a pushbike, really.
  5. Sorry guys, but this thread is closed too. Just use IRC or chat software if you want to chat.
  6. Cruise is still on, we will have dinner, then go for a cruise. We will not be going near any hotspots, and will be behaving responsibly, so there will be no dramas. Boostcruising are having a cruise down there anyway, doing a similar thing to us.
  7. we need someone to get details on this. I might be keen
  8. yes you can have a passenger for your runs. being passenger in a well driven car is sweet
  9. Go to a track or skidpan. Trust me, it will end in disaster if you try to drift on the road, ESPECIALLY in a 31. Mine should be stiffer for drift! They are dangerous things when abused and stock/semi stock, the 31's. Dont try it unless you put some REAL $, and do it on the track.
  10. i wasnt going to say anything about the throttle robo, but now that you mention it....
  11. zzzz, dude you did ask if we thought you were mad. Some people think you are, and some dont. You are quite right about being insulted, thats not fair. Strich9ine - insulting him is not really cool. If the mrs was dictating the terms, then he would be captain soft****, but thats not the case. A 33 is powerful enough to get someone, anyone, into trouble. No they arent that quick, but they are rocketships to some people. I personally wouldnt get a 33 gtst due to what you said about her driving. If you ask the question, dont complain when you get the answer.
  12. want irs, buy an import, otherwise just work on the suspension.
  13. If you are going to be late or lost, call me on 0411870159.
  14. spacers are not ALL dodgy. i have very non dodgy ones on my car, which are made by a guy who does v8 supercar wheels, and is fully engineered. 16x8 perfect i reckon. 235's or 225's all round. I could cop 16x7, but they would have to sit out nice and wide. Maybe if you got a good rappore with an importer you could tell them the specs you need and get them to source some 2nd handers in JP.

    power fc

CNJ Motorsport on Kingston Rd, Underwood tune them. I always see race cars there, and have heard good things. 4 Doorz on here is tuning his himself, and just reeled off a high 12 with a stock turbo/stock intercooler 4 dr r33 gtst.
  16. 2 things. saiyaman, AUTO S13's have fairly tame power delivery! Not hard to control. Never let other people drive your car around all the time.
  17. yeh s13 stockos are horrible. bugger have i got the offset thing the wrong way around 16x7 front, 16x8 rear. 33 offset. I would want them to sit at least 5mm further out, possibly 10mm (just from memory, and i would just roll the guards a bit to make em fit). They are satisfactory, but not perfect. I want 8's on the front as well, but theres not a whole lot of room in there. Can be done. Thats for later on. 205/55 R16 on the front 7" 225/50 R16 on the back 8" Would almost got 215/225 or 215/235 as next set. No idea what they are off. The wheels themselves made a noticeable handling improvement. less body roll, more stable.
  18. with a twist. That dance is from the 70s or something man. It's 2003. You belong in a home.
  19. You need - lower stiffer springs. Good shocks. Monroes are NOT good shocks. Im talking Koni. Swaybars help. Strut brace. Adjustable strut tops. 16's (at least, and with as much offset as you can realistically get) To do it properly. I have all the above, sits a bit high but thats not a real drama. It has an open diff. LSD is a must have. (yes it drifts great on the skidpan but in reality its total crap)
  20. In the wet you are going slower. On our skidpan you are totally sideways, but at low speed so you can safely learn. Track drift days are the only way to go after you get a bit of experience though.
  21. Greg - you were ripped off with the labour! Thats over $75/hr to put an exhaust on.
  22. michael - check clutch adjustment. If its adjusted correctly, slave/master cyls might be rooted.
  23. rust on the roof. rooted diff + centre tailshaft bearing. don't buy an auto. noisy (rooted) lifters.

    Queensland Wasteland

I say close it. Its totally pointless. IRC is there for SAU chat.
  25. R31 non turbo - very cheap to run, doesnt break down generally. fuel + rego etc. Not much really. Then i go and blow it all by spending thouuuusands on the thing.
