I've got access to sets of 17x9 and 9.5, so my options are wide open. Tyre sizing would be my main concern, then using the best wheel to complement them. Curious about running 255/265 all round over 235's - they just seem too small. There's plenty around in 255/265 anyway.

Now just before I make this impulse buy, it's probably best to check... 18x8 and 18x9 with Nexen tyres on there at the moment, 235 and 265. Not my kind of tyre/wheel sizes, so they are getting the arse. (Anyone want em?) Was looking for 17x9's, and suddenly these Lenso D1R 17x10 +15 start looking like the go, with 255's. So, is this a desireable combination for a car that is about to get Bilsteins + full whiteline kit for road driving? Is 17x10 even a good idea, do 255's suit em well, and so on... slip.

Better picture to work with. Ignore the forks this time, as they are the same as my bike. Finish on tank/tail is about right, not the shiny spraycan job on the frame though.

Just bought a project bike, and am trying to figure out paint scheme. Satin/matte black is a definite, but not sure what I'm going to do with the frame, and how far to go in general. I've looked through heaps of streetfighter (this style of bike) pictures, but most are horrible overboard Euro things which make the tail on this thing look conservative. Alien looking headlights on almost every one of them... horrible. Anyway... photoshop to the rescue. Looking at a couple of options with this pic. 1. Satin black frame, swingarm, undertray (the bottom silver bit under the engine) and wheels - delete little bar under the swingarm (torque arm for rear calliper if you care). Change forks to light gold (as they are on my bike, washed out light gold compared to the more bronze colour in this picture. 2. Satin black frame, swingarm, delete undertray, same deal with forks. 3. f**kit, do what you want - theme is similar to donor pic, tough, hard dark, cheap, simple. Any help much appreciated guys. slip.

Poida - depends what you call 'nice rubber'. My 205/55/16 fronts used to be $225 each, which were nice. (Bridgestone S03) Have a look at replacement cost for the factory tyres on an a 350Z Track or similar (factory 18's) To get the good stuff, you'll be spending a lot more. Should be able to pick up some decent mid range stuff without spending $$$$$ though. Theres a classic saying with tyres (and other things) Cheap Longetivity Grip Pick 2. (or in the S03 case, only 1)

Also have 550cc top feed injectors available, original post updated.

I don't know what the go is down in SA. Has it been complied and then failed by regency? If so who did compliance/when?

Cheapest second hand one I've seen sold went for $150. New is at least $250 from nengun/greenline/others. For $60 I'll hang onto it. Thanks for the interest.

Yes it works with the stock plenum. Just measured an injector that came out of it, would be 11mm inside diameter.

INJECTORS ONLY available, all else sold. Was running 6 x 550cc denso injectors. Will make plenty of HP. 2 of the injectors have slight damage on the end, might still be fine, but probably easily fixed by an injection specialist, contact me to discuss if you are keen on the injectors as well. you are. they are not sequential. The turbo's on a 1J are on separate manifolds. He might have one wastegate setup differently or a problem with his turbo's.

I've got a starter motor if anyone buys it and needs one.

Just to give a non-skyline comparison. TRACK: Qld Raceway Clubman GTR Class: --Dry---,--Wet--- 1:17.01, x:xx.xx, R32, IanB I've lapped in the 1:14 or 1:15 driving a Daewoo Lanos. (clapped out MoPro Cup Car) There were guys going a lot quicker in the same car that day. Hope this helps.
