In early January I will be finding out what new venues are going to be available to us for off-street events. the one that is interesting me greatly is a dirt drift track. the guys have been out on it, one in his integra type r which he had fully sideways. its a faster bigger drift track than the skidpan. 50 second lap times. no rocks, you can smoke the tyres up on some sections, its almost like bitumen ted said. as i said cost + availability will be known early January but what i would like is a show of interest and any questions or worries to be raised in this thread. its with the same guys that we do the skidpan days with. skidpan is going up in price to over $70 each, so if we go back it will be for a full day event on the skidpan and training area, much better value. I have been dissapointed in the past by having a major struggle filling 12 skidpan places, even with a small crew from rockhampton participating. it seems a lot of people are all talk, afraid of looking unco, or any number of things. please voice anything here with me.

shell, remember mt cootha? no inertia drift there, that was just power oversteer early/mid or late in the corner to get the car sideways.

steve are you able to help with a possible upgrade for the rear of my Australian R31? I already have slotted undrilled 909's on order for the front. Ive never locked the rears so i think 1. they have issues and 2. they are going to be pissweak compared to the new fronts. single piston solid rotor bah. can we look at putting r32 rear rotors or even my current front rotors on? Dont know if R32 GTS-T rear callipers will bolt on. any suggestions?

This head is found on R32 RB25DE engines (possibly other engines but I dont know) RB30 bottom end strength: from what i've read the standard bottom end is used regularly in larger hp applications.

SAU QLD will be an incorporated association soon (still sortingo out paperwork). i think the most we can do is have it in writing that any illegal actions at an SAU sanctioned event are not allowed and that the road rules must be followed at all times. Its utterly ridiculous for me to be held liable if for instance birty went off a cliff and died because he came in too hot under brakes on a mountain run, but in this sue-fest of a society its quite possible that i could be found responsible for his death. The legal system is a joke. i think i may have to speak to some legal professionals.

I have converted my car from auto to manual. if you can find a manual one for a good price do that, because the conversion may cost you $ when it comes to resale value.

hey guys just got some 300w (i think) JL audio 6x9's and installed them. i have a pioneer 1350 head unit, 4x45w if i remember correctly. with the 6x9's claiming such a high power rating (is that right? im crap with audio) can i realistically blow them with my head unit (no amp) ???? im guessing that i can, but i dont know for a fact.

nah that was my girlfriend, shes mental.... found some 16x7 and 16x8 at a wrecker today, brand new 225/50 G Grids on the back and 2nd hand good yokos on the front.... $500. ignore the first post guys
