  2. *Sigh* You are never going to satisfy the general population to suit everyone's opinions. I've been a member here for ages, I attend the odd cruise, participate on the forums where I feel I can contribute and as such I've signed up as a financial member and have expressed an interest in attending this photo shoot. As was said in whoretown but probably not read by many people, this is a good way to get people to sign up and support the ever growing community that is SAUWA. If financial members aren't going to get a priority over non-financial, what's the benefit to them apart from self knowledge that they are supporting the club? How would you feel about all the financial memhers being right up the front of the photo then and everyone else way down the back where you can barely make out your car? And how do you then think a financial member would feel if they were right down the back while other non-financial members were right up the front? You just can't satisfy everyone and at least this way, people are reaping some perks by supporting the club they like financially. I understand you have signed up as a financial member and have been around a long time too and i'm not saying your opinion is wrong, but I feel that the way this has been organised is fine and shows the members that they are getting something from their money apart from just friendships and a flashy card. Now that's MY 2c! *end rant*
  3. impossible to tell from those photos what the flange type is. It looks very much like my 2535 which I got not long ago as far as the inlet side goes. I'd say it's definitely a 2535. If you can get a closer look, there is a plate on the middle of it that says what it is. Price wise here? $2200 second hand with dump pipe and intake elbow.
  4. rob, i'll ask bart if he can get them and at what price. Just looked at the dba website and they do list rotors for the z32 TT so I guess it's possible.
  5. sorry, no news as yet....will get in contact with dsturbd on monday
  6. Cecam, What's the different in the front shocks/springs? rates? dampening?
  7. Hi, I was told by a mate that I should replace the stock pipe from my AFM to my turbo with a solid metal pipe as apparently the stock rubber one will actually suck inwards when my turbo boosts up. Especially now that I've got an aftermarket turbo and running more boost. What are your opinions on this? Is it worthwhile? I guess any exhaust shop/speed shop would be able to make this pipe up? Car is R33 GTS-t Cheers!
  8. yeah, i was going to, just wanted to make sure that the drives to and from work that I will have to do before i get a chance to get to the shops wasn't going to be doing damage to my engine...like you say, i don't want another $5K rebuild!
  9. Driver, yeah, you can use stock calipers. Kym, from what i've been told, the cross drilled rotors work better when hot, and kept hot (like in circuit racing/rallying etc.) rather than constantly warming up and cooling down like they would on a street application. This apparently causes them to crack. However, i'm no brake expert but that's what i've been told. Of course it could be :bs!: Judged, yeah, rears as well i'm sure. I'll confirm with Dstrubd, next time he's online.
  10. I just got one of these and don't have a guage to set base fuel pressure. Anyone know what pressure they come set with from the factory? Cheers!
  11. Yeah, i'm 99% sure they are the 4000 series rotors. That's the one's i'm after. I'll confirm with Dsturbd once I get some prices. Cheers
  12. yeah, that's them, the big shiny metal discs. I'm particularly looking at the slotted rotors as these will dissapait heat quicker than standard rotors. Won't necessarily pull you up harder. Pads will do that. A combination of good pads and good rotors = better braking. Good pads + stock rotors = slightly better braking though also. If you want more info on the actual product go to http://www.dba.com.au
  13. *****WA ONLY SORRY****** Hi all, One of the forum members here in WA, Dsturbd, has kindly offered to hook some members up with a great deal on brake components, in particular DBA 4000 slotted rotors and matching performance pads. I know i'm in need of some and a few people have also expressed a casual interest so I figure a group buy may be in order. Pricing has not been confirmed yet and obviously depends on numbers but bank around $250 each rotor and $65 for a set of pads. (Purely guesses) If you are interested, please note your interest within this thread. I'll post more info on products and pricing when available. Products: DBA 4000 series Slotted rotors (no cross drilled as they tend to crack) Bendix Ultimate Pads Greenstuff Pads Feredos Pads - apparently better than greenstuff Prices: Rotors - $245 each (4000 Series) Pads - $45 set (Bendix Ultimates) Pads - $230 set (Greenstuff) Pads - $180 set (Feredos) Fluid - $65 litre (Elf Brake Fluid) If you would like to place an order, please PM dsturbd directly. Dave
  14. You have PM deano_82...don't really want to disclose on public forum.
  15. oh, you wanted mods too... When I finally get my power run again I will have: Trust FMIC, Z32 AFM, Bosch 910 fuel pump, Nismo adjustable FPR, full exhaust, Trust Ex Cam Gear, S-AFCII, Blitz EBC and rebuilt engine with forged pistons.
  16. I have an HKS 2535. Just got it put on. Had fuelling problems when i went to the dyno so couldn't wind past 7psi but was getting 180rwkw at that boost level. Have just received my adjustable fuel pressure regulator and expecting a Z32 AFM and will post results when i get them. I have wound the boost up to 1.1 bar and it hits that by 3,300 rpm and pulls very nicely indeed. I hit boost cut at 1.15 bar at about 4,000rpm the other day which is my airflow meter maxing out at 5v which on an R33 happens about 220rwkw so this turbo should easily see you to your desired power level. As for installation, it bolts straight on to your exhaust manifold, dump pipe, AFM pipe and with the supplied elbow, to your intercooler pipe too. I got the GT Sports Turbine Kit which came with braided hose for the oil line and new replacement piping for the water lines. Hope that helps.
  17. no, there are no point rewards based on post length simply points for each post Encourages multiple posts with bits of info in each.
  18. Huge Kick Sideways
  19. Or maybe that might be too hard now that I think of it....PranK? What you reckon?
  20. Maybe there should be some kind of ruling for multiple posting in one thread. Ie you only get points for posts in threads you haven't posted in before....
  21. mine used to hesitate a little due to fuel delivery...like i'd put my foot down and it would pause, just slightly before switching onto boost. An upgraded fuel pump soon solved my delivery problems...wOOt
  22. I'm with Niz, the studio shots are usually very classy and look awesome but at the same time so does a car, sideways as all get out, with smoke pouring off the rear wheels in mid-drift. Plus, the stationary shot is the timeless classic. I voted for all A Nissan poster is a good poster!
  23. I've got an autowatch and my bro's currently getting one. Has most of fruit an everyday person would want such as shock sensors and ultrasonics. He is also getting the automatic window closing module and his is costing $600 all up fitted, hooked into his turbo timer and all. Both our alarms done at Alberts in myaree and can recommend them - they do good work. Also did my mates 200SX there with good results. Unsure of the autowatch web site....sorry.
  24. great form Chris Some sweet videos...
