  1. Got one, great difference in power and response. Excellent bang for your buck. 'Nuf said
  2. Troy, Is it possible to get t-shirt before we get to Drag Combat, I don't wanna have two all day! Maybe I'll just rock up topless and end up clothed, rather than vise versa! Oh, and i'm in for the club for sure :uh-huh:
  3. Rev, Your PM box is full. Interested.
  4. Hmm.....drag combat eh....sorry Paul, if anything else goes wrong with the car now i'd be too far up sh!t creek financially to recover and still keep the car. Not willing to push it at this point in time cause I need my beast to get me to work. Will have to wait for another time.... I will be down at SST this saturday getting her tuned though. Booked it all in with Steve the other day. Do you know if steve's got fuel pressure reg's for sale? i think he may find i'm gonna need one when he tunes it on sat.

  11. booked in for next saturday (3rd of April). May change plugs before then to see what happens. For now, it looks like I'll have to make do with low boost cruising (not necessarily a bad thing). Thanks.
  12. Thanks Paul. I woulda put money on the fact that you'd be first to reply. Unsure of the gap of my plugs. I'm running those NGK's with the three prongs rather than just the one. Dunno? It's not a real hard cut rather a repetitive breakdown, what i'd imagine to be plugs. Low boost is fine but the higher boost (and lets face it, we all want higher boost) it becomes problematic. Oh well. I've been meaning to get down to SST for a tune anyway. Should I book or can i just rock up on a saturday morning and try and get a tune? Weekdays are no good for me at all. Cheers!
  13. Hi all, Well, after just installing my 2535, WOOHOO Spools up lightning quick, and goes smoother and harder than old turbo at sensible boost (say 0.6 bar). However, wind Mr boost up with my EBC to say 0.85 bar or more and she starts to jerk considerably. Could this be boost cut with my AFM maxing out? It does come on like a train, however, I know a lot of you are running good numbers with stock AFM and not having this problem. Plugs? A/F ratios? suggestions? I'll definitely be visiting a tuning house soon for an SAFCII tune in the very near future. Cheers all! Dave
  14. For all those interested, I got it brand new from Greenline Performance. Jason was an absolute champion to deal with and despite being told that I probably won't get it til early april to due stock out, here I am with it. I'd prefer not to publicly announce the price but it was consderably cheaper than what a speed shop here would sell it for. There obviously were cheaper alternatives but end of the day, it's still a brand new HKS turbo. I was lucky and didn't get stopped by customs so no GST or import tax for me. Will let you know how she goes once I bolt it on. More comparison photos between this and stocker on way too.
  15. Well, It's done and it's landed. I'm now the very proud owner of:- HKS GT2535 GT Sports Turbine Kit! :D :D Arrived safely today at my front door brand new from Japan without any hassles. Kit comes with everything I need to fit it, including braided oil line, new studs, clips, hoses, the works. Now just to fit it.... The wheels are in motion....... Will keep you informed....watch this space
  16. not necessarily. You could get Tomei Poncams which are obviously aftermarket but can be installed and still retain your NVCS and use your stock IN gear. But on the whole, yes, you wouldn't bother with the IN side unless you're willing to loose NVCS and put in bigger aftermarket camshafts.
  17. There has been a couple of discussions about this topic but in the end I think it was decided that it was personal preference. Some people said that they heard that the HKS metal was softer or some thing but no one has had any problems with any gears purchased by any of the tuning houses. Personally I have a Trust Cam gear and haven't had a problem with that at all. Also, you don't want to get the IN gear for your car as you will lose the NVCS which is not something you want. Most R33 GTSt drivers only get the EX wheel. Cheers!
  18. geeeeeeesus! Way to go Ant. first 10's, then 700 horses! When will this car stop! Go you good thing
  19. Question.... What size connection is the R33 fuel reg? 8mm, -6 or -8? I going to need one with my new turbo as i've still got stock injectors and don't have the $$ at the moment to get some.
  20. Paul, Put me down for a large please. I'll DD you the cash shortly. Cheers! Dave
  21. N13 Pulsar GL with 1.6L, got sick of that and put in 1.8L - absolute handbrake monster N14 Pulsar Q with SR20DE, extractors + zorst, mags, lowered, tint, full sic style - loved that car, would buy it back in a flash. Bloody quick for a shopping trolley, SR made great zorst note and it didn't look that bad in my opinion... then came the call of the turbo 'line.....love my Nissans!
  22. Adam Look here mate http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=15420 lots of info on RB30DET. In fact, basically everything you want to know. There is also a link off that page which much more info too i'm pretty sure. I don't think it works out to be the most cost efficient thing to do however..... Cheers! Dave
  23. From personal experience, you should get about 220 - 240 rwhp depending on your exhaust and pod - so roughly 165 - 180rwkw. I got 239.8HP (i lost the damn graph or i'd post it) with stock s2 with pod, full zorst, 10 psi and an SAFCII tune-up. That was done in shootout mode @ reputable dyno here in WA (SST).
  24. a lot of people I think you'll find buy stuff from online "stores" in Japan. Examples are: www.takakaira.com www.nengun.com www.greenline.jp Other places locally are performance shops such as Xspeed, SST, Per4manz, Cypher, Formaz, etc...
